Saw a yellow F430 Coupe leaving McDonald's amazingly.

Needless to say, I found out going West on I-30 that my TL isn't quite equipped to suddenly high tail it like the Ferrari. But my goodness, that Ferrari sounded awesome at high RPMs. It easily drowned out my own little V6.

Good stuff today!

A FIAT Dino (EDIT: FIAT 124 Spyder), pretty awesome. The guy who was driving it looked like Mr. Clarkson, was about the same size as far as I could tell. A very awesome little car that I didn't expect to see when going grocery shopping...

BMW 8-series, looks to be for sale...

Yep, here it is!

Looks like they were borrowing it, or just bought it. $19,000 with an automatic transmission.

That's a Fiat 124 Spider

This is the Dino:

Incredibly I saw a white 997 GT3, a black Ferrari 550 Barchetta (rare as hell), a yellow 355 Spyder, a yellow 360 Spyder and a blue 612 Scaglietti all within 10 minutes of each other and all going in different directions today!!! Only got pics of two of the cars (put them up later) so you'll just have to take my word for it.

According to it's properties, the photo was taken 30/9/07.

According to the RAC, its a Lotus Carlton.

I was more skeptical about the latter....

And what the hell is a Goosenaargh?

Why are you skeptical that it's a Lotus Carlton? It looks the part.
Its fairly straightforward to take a Carlton 3000GSi and make it look like a Lotus. The mistake most copiers make is that they start wth a black Carlton....

As there were only 320 Lotus Carltons made, there's probably going to be a number of fakes out there.

It's also a very, very good spot.
Yes, it is.

The actual green that Lotus used for their Carlton is very dark, in most light conditions it looks so clase to black anyways. The time of day the picture is would suggest this as well. I wasn't aware anyone would want to make a lookalike anyways. They're so subtle in the first place, you would be trying to impress such a small amount of the population (enthusiasts).

The CSi models were the only ones available with manual transmissions. Even Doug has seen more Maserati MC12s than manual e31's.

There's a HYOWGE number of black Vauxhall Carltons - not even GSis - with Lotus badges. Which is very odd as everyone on Earth by now knows that Lotus Carltons/Omegas were Imperial Green.

Except the silver one.

I've seen a couple of Lotus Carltons before and nothing about this made me think look-a-like. That is the cheapest petrol station near me which is the reason I had driven a couple of miles out of my way to go there. Quite handy in the end.

I saw that GD yellow Ford GT this morning on my way to school, one that continues to hide in and out of Ada and East Grand Rapids, one that none of my friends have been able to take a photo of.

Bah!

...I even heard it coming, but I thought it was the work truck next to me...

I may have seen one, ages ago, back when there was a specialty used car shop here in Grand Rapids called "Zoom."

Even at that, I think the 850CSi's had the manual as an option, making even a CSi spotting an unguaranteed manaul transmission occurance.

I know, I'm saying the Imperial Green they used is so damned dark, unless they were side-by-side, I'd be hard pressed to notice a difference.

I can't wait to see an imported one in North America. It's been 15 years now...

at a parking lot in the city i spotted this beauty of a range rover sport super charged... check out the awesome titenium window tint ;) :D
