Quick estates are always cool.

Kind of an odd question, but: How many Phaetons has GTP seen?

I've personally seen 30 to 40.

A few shots: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. Most of those are W12s - I don't photograph the V8. Too common!

Spots today...

Aston Martin DB9. It was at a wheel and tire shop, if you were wondering about the differing wheels.

Ferrari F430 Spider. Local plates; being driven by a young black guy.

SPOT OF THE DAY!!

Rolls-Royce Corniche V. Only 394 of these were made from 2000 to 2002. It's a $360,000 vehicle. My first sighting of this vehicle or any fifth-generation Corniche. Beautiful car.

Also this abomination:

26" in case you were wondering.

Saiyu, why do you block out the license plates? It's not a private thing, if the owner didn't want to have his number seen, he would cover it himself when he parked it anywhere public.

The internet isn't as unsafe as your mom thinks. I bet you could find my full adress within 20 minutes of hunting on the internet, and there aren't any masked burglars coming in my windows at night.

PS - that M5 Estate is sweet, the first on GTP unless someone can correct me.

To start:

I see this guy driving the hell out of this Ford Galaxie every time I go to my Golf class, and I was shocked to see him doing well-over 80 MPH on Interstate 96. This guy gets a medal just for driving the car on a regular basis...

So, yeah. If you've been in Michigan at all today you know that its cold and rainy, otherwise the first "real" day of fall. Anyway, this guy is either really dumb or really brave, and so we see an SRT-10 out once again... Strangely enough with the "Ol' Blue" plates...

There is an idiot here in Grand Rapids that did the same wheel destruction to an Olds 442, which makes me;

1) Cringe
2) Curse at the driver as he goes by
3) Display gestures normally given only to my brother...

Lost count. The Hong Kong government uses them as company cars. I can stand in Central at the end of a working day and see about 20-30 drive by.

Are these standard wheels? For some reason this Conti seemed more bad-ass then all the others I've seen.

The Number Plate was 'Subman', 2 shops to the left of the Chicken shop is a subway, so one can only assume he does an awful lot of shifts there....

It looks like a jellybean or a bar of soap.

Neither of the wheels look good on it.

I'm down here visiting my sister in the NYC area, close to the city in some housing complex around here, and a few days ago, something caught my eye out the window.

I look, and low and behold, a Mercedes SLK 280!

I took these the next day, since it was raining cats and dogs when I saw it, and digital camera + rain = no

It was just BEGGING to have it's picture taken. What a damn sexy car. Wish I knew who owned this thing.

An eclectic pick-and-mix from the last week...

That's a F355 Spyder, Porsche 911 with droolworthy wheels, F360 Spyder, R33 GT-R, 4-door R32 (painted roof), F360 Spyder, Toyota Verossa, Fairlady Z, Toyota Chaser, some tiny Kei Car van...

I love Maine. I want to take a car on Highway 27 I think it was, from the Quebec border to Scowhegan. The surface was repaved along that whole section over the last few years and now it's a great drive through the mountains and between lakes. Perfect for a car like the one pictured. Love it...

The BBS LMs look wonderful on the 911 and a perfect example of when replacing the stock wheels makes the car look better. Very fine example of the LM/911 combination. 👍

No pics I'm afraid, but just to report yesterday I saw 2 Daihatsu Materias (Materii?) and a brand spanking new Peugeot 308.

The Daihatsu looks bloody fantastic, so effortlessly cool from a brand I was kind of on the fence over.
The Peugeot on the other hand... pleased to see one, but I don't want to see another any time soon. :-(

The face.... it's all wrong! :'(

I dunno, I saw a lot of people in the UK do it so I presumed it's what I should do when I post pics. But yeah, the M5 was cool, and definetly has more presence than say a quick Audi estate.

The Daihatsu Materia/Toyota Bb are selling like absolute hot cakes over here. I've always thought the Bb was fantastic and the new one is great too, apart from the fugly back lights.

Take a look at what Alex found parked in front of The Dorchester using Google Maps:

MC12_TheDorchester.jpg

OK, so as impressive and extremely rare as it is to EVER find an MC12 out in public from a satellite photo, what really stood out for me was that not only was the MC12 parked between the lines, and not taking up two spaces as many exotic car owners feel they deserve, but the close proximity of the car directly to the right!

I guess they have very careful valets at The Dorchester. :D

However, I wonder how the owner of that MC12 felt seeing his $1.2-1.5 million dollar car parked sooo close to another car.

This reminded me of the lengthy heated debate that occasionally comes up in this thread about whether or not exotic cars deserve to take up two parking spaces.

Thanks for posting it :D

I sort of scream WOAH in class when i found it and was looked at very strangely by the tecaher :)

New VUE Redline, first one I've seen of these:

A pretty cool looking EVO, still had temp plates on it. I've never seen one that looked like this before. No badges on the back but it had this shark fin spoiler thing above the rear windshield.
