Second Diablo I've seen this month...

And it wasn't yellow..! And surprisingly well parked too.

Bit of a blurry side shot. Sorry.

Apparently this thing is a bit of a rarity (~300 ever made) too...

I had someone elses crappy camera so this shot came out bad...a Mini Cooper is BRG. I love how it looks next to the F-150.

IS300, fairly rare in this area.

Nissan something or other, whatever the Silvia was in the states.

Would just like to state that Holdenhsvgtsr has no taste whatsoever, so him posting a Vectra is not a surprise.

IS300, fairly rare in this area.

That Mini's roof is barely the height of the top of the bed.

And IS' are everywhere around here. Whats rare is the IS300 estate, which was a good looking car.

Remember a while back when I said there was a cab from O'Hare here in Grand Rapids on a fare? Well, I found the photo:

Thats a nearly four hour drive from there to here, depending on traffic. I can't imagine how expensive it must have been...

Nope. It did that in an awesome way as well.

Are we talking about a '68 GT500 or a '71? But I guess "awesome" is a relative term, even for that era.

Lamborghini really knows how to paint cars. Those are fantastic hues.

I did not find such fantastic hues, but I do have these lovely parting gifts:

BMW 635CSi

Not the best picture, not the most amazing car, but it has a certain...panache. It oozes enough cool for me to own, at least.

Porsche 911SC

What percentage of early Porsche's were SC's? I hardly see any of these, and I thought the percentage would be higher.

Pontiac GTO 1965

Inadvertantly getting back into themes. This and the next two were seen on the same day.

Dodge Charger Super Bee 1969

Most likely not a 'Hemi, as I saw no Hemi badges anywhere. The bee logo looked cool, though.

Shelby Cobra

99% chance of it being a replica. The wheels don't look right, and it's been driven to a gas station that's still under construction. A good replica would still be fun to own, but I'd have to be honest and have a license plate frame that said "Carroll Shelby went to England but all he got me was this lousy replica."

Mercedes-Benz CL600

It's a V12 in a gigantic coupe. Why didn't this idea last with the 850CSi?

Maserati Quattroporte

Despite not seeing much good stuff, I should stop with the QP. It's almost as passe' as the SL55. Almost.

Ferrari 328GTS

Okay, so I don't know if it's a GTS or not, but this and the next two were seen right after one another. (That's theme #2 for those keeping score.)

Ferrari 430

Do not like the wheels. At all. 👎 Almost didn't get posted.

Ferrari 550M

I don't see enough 575's. Or any, really.

Lotus Esprit V8

I think I know the driver of this one, and he's a total fool. A self-important, arrogant, tool. But he does drive a nice car....

Bugatti Veyron

It's a dealer photo, but there are a precious few that I will do this for. I thought there was only one grey/white model. This would be it, if so.

The 328 you've photographed is indeed a GTS. Remember, 'GTB' refers to the Berlinetta bodystyle - or, to you and me, a 'hardtop.' 'GTS' refers to the targa bodystyle. And of course 'Spider' refers to a convertible.

The V12 Ferrari you photographed is a 575M, not a 550. The way you can tell the difference, aside from the wheels, is that the 550 is smiling, while the 575 isn't.

Compare that to the 575 you've photographed and you'll see the difference.

Harry, great spots as always. 👍

Why didn't this idea last with the 850CSi?

Transmission, mostly. BMW wanted the 850CSi to be sporty. Mercedes knows what a big coupe should be.

I would be very upset if you didn't post a Veyron, I don't care if you happen upon a Veyron meet!!

EDIT: I have to spread some around :indiff:

Supercharged Range Rover Sport? A friend of mine put those wheels on their regular Range Rover which looks badass (replicas of course :D).

Also, the wheels on that black Gallardo are the most awesomest.

The End

It looks like a Panoz to me. If Panoz kits are available, it could be that. Panoz is headquartered here in Georgia so it's not extremely uncommon to see them around. However, it's a strange sight in racing livery!

From today...

911_PRIME8-102007.jpg

That's a 993 911 with a tow hitch. If you're mystified about the license plate, think 'primate'. The owner was driving with a monkey in his lap.

F430 Spider

DB9 Volante

Some decent 360 Spider shots:

And my new background...

How in the hell did you keep the camera that still on that last shot, I'm lucky to get one that good when I'm standing still with both hands holding it steady. Good stuff.
