I saw a Ferrari F40 on the road leaving the ferrari garage near my house. Sounded awesome and looked out of this world.

Id feel a bit stupid driving that thing around the city in traffic though.

I also saw a R8 around Heathrow and raced an SL55 AMG off the lights a few days ago the AMG sounded like an automatic:yuck:.

If I had a camera and lightening reactions, I could rival Doug

I joke I joke:P

Doug, have you seen a black Diablo around anywhere?

Diablos elude me consistently. In my view they're the craziest-looking car of all time, yet I've only ever had the pleasure of seeing two, and neither were in Atlanta.

*McLaren*
Seems Doug's luck happened for me today. Saw a gorgeous Rosso Corsa F430 Spyder.

Mitsubishi = Spyder
Ferrari = Spider

:D!

(actually, of course, every manufacturer is 'Spyder' but Ferrari)

Slick Rick

Yeah. But you'd need both. :)

Yeah. But you'd need both. :)

I've been wondering about that. Do you drive around with your camera in hand? Or like - maybe on your dash turned on at all the times? What's your technique DOUG? TELL ME DOUG.

I drive around all the time with my camera in my lap or in the console. I do not have it turned on at all times, because it runs on AA batteries (I know, I know) but from completely off, it can turn on and take a photograph within two seconds, which is the reason I purchased it.

Despite all the photos I post here, I am fallible, and I miss a car from time to time (though I will never miss a great car). Or, sometimes, I get a horrible photo of a car because it took me too long to get my camera out or get the picture focused. For instance, my reaction time wasn't what it needed to be when I got this shot yesterday:

And as a result the shot is pretty poor. I include it for my records, but I don't post it on here. Another example of my not-quite-quick-enough reaction time is this shot:

The vehicle in the left lane is an extremely rare Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph. Fortunately I've seen the same one three times, or else I'd be kicking myself for missing that one.

Speaking of Rolls Royce Silver Seraphes, this is what a friend and I did a few months ago. :D

that's what photoshop is for, but I don't see how it will help you spot more cars...

I see at least one Italian supercar every few days the problem is I dont have a camera at hand or if I do i.e. my phone by the time I get it loaded and try and get the car in the shot, its gone. I dont see what photoshop has to do with that.

I only mentioned the F40 today because it looked awesome and it wasnt in a showroom or anything, someone was actually driving it on the road.

You dont see that everyday.

I was jerking your chain because you meant to say lightning instead of lightening
as in lightening the picture not lightning struck my house :sly:

I was at Lenox with a girlfriend of mine sometime the weekend before last and saw a black one heading down Peachtree towards Phipps. It was gorgeous. I didn't happen to have my camera on me, and before I could whip out the camera phone I had lost sight of it.

I hope you're lucky enough to see it lurking around sometime.

Update from the past few days:

n78001441_30418761_3353.jpg

The first Nissan Sentra SE-R I've seen, my guess because the car pretty much sucks. I wasn't all that impressed, actually.

n78001441_30418762_3581.jpg

COBRAH! Hey, that Q7 ain't that big...

n78001441_30418763_3796.jpg

COBRAH!!! My guess is that this one is a kit car (given the plate), but at least hes driving his around. I had to go pretty quick to catch him out there on the Beltline.

I keep kicking myself every day for not having a camera on me. Lately, that Alfa Romeo I spoke of earlier, a Daihatsu Terios with diplomatic plates, a couple M5s and tonight a totally mint BMW 2800CS. That thing was so beautiful. It had a parking ticket and registered from Illinois, so I doubt I'll see it again.

I did catch this the other day:

No, even the last generation was lame. Totally sad excuses for the SE-R badge.

But it took you that long to spot one? I must've seen my first in June or something?!?

There is a black coupe - an early model - on sale right now at Lamborghini Atlanta. That could be the vehicle.

Weekend...

- Also saw a white Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale with the loudest exhaust I ever did hear and (coincidentally) a red with white striped Cobra replica.

I liked the previous generation SE-R because it was cheap, moderately fast, and actually looked good before they tried to stick the Maxima front-end on it...

...And yes, it took me this long to see one. Remember, its Michigan, so the American cars usually outsell the Japanese probably 5:1 in most cases. Nissans are far more rare than Toyotas or Hondas around here, which interestingly enough, often seem to be more rare than Volkswagens on this side of the State.

One of the times I drove through Michigan this summer, I did a car count just to see what the official numbers were between domestic and imports. 700 oncoming cars, 20.6% were imports.

Incredible spots today!

A few weeks ago I had never seen a Vanquish and then on Sept. 22, I saw a silver one with California plates. Today I saw the rare Vanquish S! Local tags. Very very cool car.

Up until this point, I thought the 612 Scaglietti was a good-looking car. I'm forever dissuaded from that now. The side shot makes it look okay, but it looks absolutely horrible on the road. I drove next to and behind it for a quarter mile and at one point I was laughing at how horrible the rear three-quarter view looked. This is only my fourth 612 spot.

I saw Chris Eubank's Peterbilt truck today at Knightsbridge.

It was Humongous and so so shiny:tup:

Got an autograph from him too..and got that by climbing up to his window which was pretty cool.

Have 2 very blurry pics cause my bloody cameraphone lens is clogged as usual....

but if anyone wants them...
