The front looks great, I do not like the rear end however. It's like they spent all there money on the first 80% of the car and said screw it when they got the back.

Oh and they just got there idea from this car

That is a good comparison. The front of that Infiniti is gorgeous, however the back, as you said, leaves more to be desired. That one at least speaks the same design language as the rest of the Infiniti brand.

I was under the impression they copied a pre-Bangle BMW, and failed.

The front does, however, look pretty nice.

Doug--Nice Mazda6 spot!

So I finally took the camera out today, got some decent shots.

That Alfa I spoke of

Some funky Hyundai, also imported from overseas

Daihatsu Terios

All three of those may be really common in their native lands, but in North America, I would doubt there is more than 5 of each.

One of the many M3s I saw. This was early in the day, when I figured I wouldn't see as many of them. I didn't bother photographing them after this.

Audi RS4, crappy hipshot.

Mystery 6-series. Automatic transmission, central exhaust and a single ///M badge out back.

Also saw some sort of british car. I thought it was a classic Aston Martin, but upon Google inspection, I think I might be wrong. It had the same shape as a DB5, but a more vertical C-pillar and a very flat tail end with vertical tails. Didn't have the camera. Saw a Gallardo Spyder, new S6, Maserati QP, a pair of M5s and some other randoms, but didn't feel like being a huge dork infront of my friend and jumping onto the street to photograph some random car.

Man, GM sure know how to produce strikeout after strikeout in the design department. You'd have to be really biased to think that is moderately attractive.

I'm totally not looking forward to all of these new models that YSSMAN claims to be the greatest things ever.

Like Joey said, everything is beautiful about the car with the exception of the rear... Even I would admit that... I've been looking all-over for one here in Grand Rapids, as most of the Chevrolet dealers have sold-off their previous Malibu stocks, but don't have the new one.

And while I'm uncertain that I've ever said that they will be "teh best ting evah!" they will in fact be a force to be reckoned with in the segment.

You've been hyping them since the first mention of the idea, and whenever any car comes up in this segment, you always refer to them as something worth waiting for.

Ok, the GTR is almost out.

Now Doug, we have high expectations of you....

When does it debut in the States?

I see a lot of great cars but for new introductions, it's hit-and-miss with me. Saw an Audi R8 and Volvo XC70 prior to introduction, but the Viper coupe's been out a year and still none of those. However, I should see a relatively cheap car such as the GT-R around launch time. But I was under the impression that was a few months away.

Well this is what a saw today:
2 Mazda RX-8 (one of them had a crappy carbon-fiber spoiler :yuck:)
A Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34)
A Mercedes Benz CLS 350

Maybe be a DB6?

Exigeracer:

The Alfa is an Alfa 145. To be honest, I am suprised it is still working and hasn't rusted away.

The Hyundai is a Matrix; small, cheap mini MPV. Over here in England, they tend to be bought by older people and parked badly.

Carlsson Mercedes.

Porsche Carrera S.

BMW M6 Cabrio.

Alfa 166.

Nissan Navara.
Cars seen ,but no pictures:that Bentley from a copple weeks ago,Porsche Cayenne and a Nissan 350Z cabrio.

London was dissapoiting, an SLR, 3 phantoms, and some bentleys, and an R8, not really bothered with the pics to be honest.
