There is a black coupe - an early model - on sale right now at Lamborghini Atlanta. That could be the vehicle.

Well poo. It might have been. I was poking around Lamborghini Atlanta about 3 weeks ago and didn't see it, so that Diablo must be a new addition.

I saw a 1972 Lamborghini Miura... Sure it was at a dealer but still... Pictures later today.
Perfectly fine for a $600,000+ car.

@Doug, have you managed to see one with stock rims? It might change your view on them. Not saying it will, but might.

@daan, never get tired of seeing your Peugeot. Love that car. 206, right?

Seen four. Three had stock wheels, plus the one I saw today. Two of the four had the expensive, rare two-piece wheels. Today was the first time I saw one driving for more than a few seconds, and the proportions are just awful. In the past I was an apologist for the 612, but I've been converted.

I've never seen a GTO in this colour before and I've seen a lot of GTO's...is there something special about it?

I believe thats a 2004 model with the Barbados Blue paint color... It was only offered in 2004, dropped in favor of Midnight Blue Metallic in 2005.

My favorite color on the GTO will always be purple, of course with the matching purple interior, but I see that those quite often are impossible to find...

Yes, I did!

:)

* A BMW M5 (dark blue, latest model).

* A BMW 645 ci convertible (black, latest model).

* Audi TT convertible (black, latest model) with 18" wheels.

* Alfa Romeo (see photo).

Good, because next to the Enzo the 599 & 612 are the ugliest Italian cars ever.

The Enzo and 599 aren't so bad. I've never seen an Enzo on the road so I reserve most judgement, but I have seen a 599, and it was fine. Looked a lot like a Viper, but it wasn't bad. Certainly not one of the ugliest Italian cars ever.

The 612 is the 400/412 reincarnated.

Last night at 1am I was driving past a luxury hotel and caught this:

Truly spectacular. My FOURTH Carrera GT spot. What irks me is that I've seen four of these - of which there are only ~650 in America - yet I've seen no Enzos, of which there are about one third of that number in the States. And in Atlanta I have no chance of seeing an Enzo since the only one around here is locked up tight in a basement with the original window sticker still mounted on the windshield.

Local plates on this thing. It began raining HARD at about 1:20am; I drove back by around 1:30 and the valets had not moved it into the garage. I've seen videos of Carrera GTs skidding on dry pavement, so I did not envy the owner having to drive it home in the rain.

So you finally got some rain in Atlanta eh?

Still nothing will be as cool as that car in front of the cheaper house.

Nice spot Doug.

I'm off to London tommorow, Hoping ot see some uber machines, so if anyone knows of particular places I can see exotics please tell me. I will be visiting mayfair, including the dorchester hotel, harrods, Oxford street and a couple of other places.

That will be where most exotics roam.

Dont forget park lane (i think there is a dealer with a pagani) and if you are anywhere near knightsbridge, kensington, chelsea...you will see tons 'normal' exotics like f430, f360..porsches....etc.

No more than 20 minutes ago I was on my way back from teh Toyota dealer when I came upon an Aston Martin V8 Vantage (the new model). Montana plates and no respect for Louisiana laws of the road (which means the driver should fit right in).
Looked awesome. 👍
Tried to keep up with it but after he got a nice gap in front he took off and never looked back. :ouch:
I guess the Corolla S isn't exactly competition for the AMV8 after all. :dopey:

Man, GM sure know how to produce strikeout after strikeout in the design department. You'd have to be really biased to think that is moderately attractive.

I'm totally not looking forward to all of these new models that YSSMAN claims to be the greatest things ever.

The front looks great, I do not like the rear end however. It's like they spent all there money on the first 80% of the car and said screw it when they got the back.

Oh and they just got there idea from this car

Yeah, but that actually looks good. IMO, though.
