- Unless anyone can enlighten me, then I'm just going to say this is a standard 997 with an odd body kit
It looks very much like a TechArt Porsche, but I wasn't aware they made one without a bookshelf of a rear spoiler.

I can post any of the above pics at much higher resolution (3072x2304 pixel). If you want something just give me a shout.
The Hammer, please.

Isn't that the 300E Hammer or something?

I think that was only in coupe form based on the 300CE, whereas this one is the 4-door 300E. My friend's dad had one. Great car! Rare as anything.

EDIT: It seems you were able to buy a Hammer based on the 300E. http://image.rakuten.co.jp/garagecurrent/cabinet/img19712341.jpg The black grille seems a standard feature, so I'm still sure my spot was a normal 300E with AMG body kit.

Here's your wallpaper anyway, Toronado. Enjoy!

manual Vanquish, dont think it counts though as it was spotted in glasgow city centre and glasgow has the most amount of millionaires in scotland therefore i would expect to see something like this.

That just happen to look identical!

And tourist information was far from helpful. The lady was determined to put on her strongest possible accent for us.

true

thats cause all you foreigners love the accent  had many a strange look talking glaswegian when in sheffield or bath visiting family or friends.you try to talk "properly" but everyone wants you to talk like your "fae glesga" but then have no idea what you on about

How can we love an accent we cant even understand?

Some spots over the last couple of weeks.

f3hminiclubmanpd8.jpg

MINI Clubman - the third I've seen, the first I've photographed. Damn, it's ugly.

f3hvelsatisyb6.jpg

Renault Vel Satis - about a thousand of these were RHD, sold in the UK between 2001 and 2005. Quite a rare, and unjustifiably unloved, car.

Evo 8 week... The bottom, good, photo taken in the same location as below...

Isn't it amazing what you see in the McDonald's car park early on a Saturday morning?

That's a 1972 911T...

famine, you did really well to get a good photo from that location, well done 👍

I've seen one of those. Like the Espace, I find them surprisingly attractive.

Nah. Best I get to see at my McDonalds carpark is a '65 Mustang and an old Alpina 3-series Turbocharged. :sly:

I really like it too, but that's probably because it's a Renault.

They could have quite easily made it bland in an attempt to sell more.

*Ahem*

Speaking of, I haven't seen one of those in a long time.

The most important thing is being in a location where you've got a chance to see exotics on a regular basis. Beyond that, it's about so much more than luck - it takes a lot of dedication just hoping for the eventual payoff. But it's worth it...

*snip*

That's the last six months only, for the record - and hours upon hours of searching.

That explains it, i actually saw that Skyline in Adelaide, the best day of my life. The Esprit at the Gold Coast was also nice. The best i've seen down here is a 300ZX, which we see reguarly because someone around town owns it.

About that collection... all i can say is

Damn you Famine, you've seen a Clubman. I've been looking all over trying to find one because I know there are couple state side already since people are popping up on North American Motoring with them. The one you saw looks like it is in Sparkling Silver too!

I've seen it twice in similar locations. I think it's a weird beigey-gold colour.

Ya it's the same weird colour my Cooper is. Kinda beige but kinda silver at the same time.

Chevrolet Camaro.

Cayenne S.

Range Rover Sport/CLK 200 Supercharger.

Audi Q7.

Today I saw my first Maserati Quattroporte and I whas to late to take a photo of it.

I have seen a fair few Vel Satis, and I also saw an Avantime the other week, another rare Renault I beleive.

edit: yep just looked, produced between 2001-2003 and only sold 260 in the UK.

EIGHT of which (yes, EIGHT) were in 2003.

Who wouldn't want to buy an MPV Coupe? Seriously, UK, sort your car-buying preferences out.
