Thanks for the info on the GT2 kit. Reg. the Merc, it is a Brabus kit. Very evil looking. Actually, I photographed the same car a couple of weeks ago.

EDIT: I have just sent an email off to the president of the POC(HK) in the hope that the owner may be a member.

EDIT 2: Here's some good news. The mint green 964 Cab I saw is apparantly a 964 Turbo Cabriolet of which only 250 were produced (specifically for the US market I think). The colour was only availbible on RS and Turbo 911s.

- A turbo bodied cabriolet version was released in 1993. This had the standard electric spoiler and turbo guards. Mechanically it was the same as the standard model apart from 17" cup wheels and the brakes and suspension which were 'Jubilee' specification. Only 250 of this variant were produced.

HAPPY NEW YEAR GTP - SEE YOU IN 2008

Is it bad if I noticed the Porsche first and then the Lexus ES?

Why the Lexus you may be asking? Well, I'm not sure either.

Rue
Good effort!

Production from 8/95 to 7/96 (model year 1996):
GT2 - worldwide: 202.

Production from 8/97 to 7/98 (model year 1998):– worldwide: 21.

Total:- 223

I always assumed there were more than that made. Bonus!
Well, the problem with these numbers is that many of these GT2's didn't exactly start out as GT2's. From what I've read last night, many ended up being turned into GT2's from regular 911 chassis'.

Uh, the Lotus was first. Not even from a car standpoint, your eyes should've gone there first based on colour and its isolated position.

I guess I noticed the Porsche for opposite reasons... The dark color in the middle of the white/silver ones...

There isn't much out and about at the moment as Wellington tends to empty out over the Christmas period.

2007 Bentley Arnage - parked in the restaurant district.

More American cars seem to be breaking cover now that the summer weather has come out to play:

1967 Chevrolet Bel Air

Pontiac Firebird

I love that last Skyline shot in your first post of these new photo's simply for the womans expression on her face.

A yellow Dino

Very good spots!

And how old is the vantage driver?! 25 at best!

Thanks for the comments!

Or maybe they are 18 and have really rich parents

Probably or maybe he made a lot of money in IT/finance. Really, he could have it for any amount of reasons. Your guess is probably pretty accurate though.

I saw a newer Bentley driving around a Chevrolet dealership yesterday. I only saw it's tail end for a few seconds though so I didn't catch what model it was. Looked like a Continental from my angle though.

Kool, Berger, Classic?

...I'd guess that it was either the black or the green one? The guy with the green one lives down the street from my father's house, I see the black one at Macy's once in a while...

I went for a drive out to Martinborough today to visit a few vineyards and whatnot (it's kind of NZ's version of The Nappa Valley).

I got to see my first S5 in the wild. I really like it in Red.

This exquisite 1962 VW 1500 Variant

A very cute little 1953-56 Daimler Conquest Saloon (I wish it was the roadster as they only produced 45 of them).

And this sad looking 1977 Pontiac Transam Firebird with Cragers.

I presume the wine tasting go a bit much for the driver of this Primera:

They were damn lucky the trees stopped them as its about a 500m drop from the road!

Nice S5! I've only seen a showroom one. No place for the Sunburst Yellow Evo V? My particular favourite Evo that one.

Referring to the post he quoted.

Both the vantage drivers look very young to be able to afford those cars.
