Hey, they dont look that bad, i've seen much worse (and taken much worse) phone snaps than that, you can easily see what you're photographing and they look fairly sharp too. No purple fringing like some cheap phones either. If you're going for a decent digital compact pretty much all of them offer better quality than your average camera phone, though some manufacturers are pushing thier limits by building a phone around a camera rather than the other way round...

That's because they're supposed to be. Freightliner is a semi truck builder and builds these for folks who want a more versatile semi. These models though, are built under the sub-division, SportChassis, but are based upon Freightliner's Business Class M100/106 model.
Price? Around $270,000.

Of course though, many consider these as perfect substitutes to motorhomes if you're traveling alone somewhere. And just about every semi truck builder in the US has 1 of these little models. International, though, has been credited to having some of the better trucks and are more customizable. You'll find Ford & Chevrolet also attempting a similar product, though they usually don't stack quite up to these things as Freightliner, International, etc. have more experience in these products.

So it is like a semi, but still a truck? (so yeah, thats what a semi truck means right?) But I don't get it, how can they manage to drive those on normal roads despite being so big? Do you need one of them truck license to drive one as well? But the price, holy.... Thats about the price of a sports car!!!

I just came back from the city, and saw my 4th Audi R8, this time in black. My pic is a bit...err blurred.

Also saw a new Jag XKR, M5, old S4, and a few Porsches.

They're classified as Heavy Duty Pickups despite being built on a semitruck frame. But since they don't have trailers or an extending rear (like a small Coke/Water truck), you only need a Class C license to drive one.

In the US though, semis drive just fine. In fact, they rule the road.

Rue, are you sure your pics aren't staged? Some of them look so... perfect. The yellow Ferrari and the Murcielago look almost like promotional shots ;)

If it wasn't for the fact that Lambo hasn't been announced for GT5, I'd swear that that was a publicity screen shot for GT5! It for some reason almost looks like a video game...

I've seen one smart, and it was on the road when I was biking home from a long ride. I was too slow for a pic :(

You would guess living in the bay area they would be all over. Maybe I need to go to San Fransisco soon. Haven't been there in a long time actually, and the sightings there are great. Curse not having a car and the damn $5 fee across the Golden Gate Bridge.

saw theese at International Drive (I-Drive) in Orlando Florida, they are parked in the Knight Inn hotel. there was also a red Saleen S7 (not sure if it was the TT version or not)
sorry for POS camera phone quality pictures!

Shame about the flash though...

Thanks, too bad I was still on ISO1600 from shooting at the bar the night before...

I took one without the flash, but it came out blurred so it's not worth posting. Here's one of the back though.

Really the 500 is new? Ok well I suppose I have to snag a shot of one then.

So new it does not exist. I don't know what the vehicle in Rue's shot is but the GL range is composed entirely of the GL450, the GL550, and the GL320 CDI. It has never included a GL500.
