*Cough* The wheels are forged, as opposed to cast (saves 1kg a corner), the springs, dampers and geometry are different, and the cars gain a stiffer undertray.

Whadda you know about Astons, anyway?...

:P

I just love this shot, Joey. It's like "woot, I'm gone".
Btw, were you driving while taking those pics?

I think I'd prefer the Latigo CS to the BMW 650, but that's like saying I'd prefer having my teeth removed with a shotgun to a napalm enema.
Hey, don't badmouth napalm enemas until you tried one! :grumpy:

Nope, my girlfriend enjoys car hunting as much as I do so she shoots the photos and I drive. Seems like the safest way to go about things.

SPOT OF THE DAY

A Fisker Tramonto, I never seen one of these in person before and it was pretty cool.

!!!!!!! Great spot! On my 'all time must see list' (I should actually MAKE this list one day) but I don't think I ever will. Very cool and VERY good job noticing because they really do look like the SL unless you're smart about it.

Thanks for the photos!

EDIT: BTW Joey to give you an idea how rare it is... this is from a guy on F-chat who just got one:

It's a 2006 with 7,000 miles. The pictures were taken Monday as the car came out of the trailer. It is no. 1 of 150, but only 12 have been made to date.

Wow I had no idea, Kate actually pointed it out first. She goes "hey what's that?" and I replied "Fisker!!!". I pulled a U-turn and followed him for a couple miles until I could get behind him so Kate could snap away.

The car has Pennsylvania plates on it and I'm guessing he was coming from Auto Europe down the road from where I was. They were not dealer plates either. A fairly young guy was driving it too.

* thanks for the info 👍

Maser. Pretty boring car, but still somewhat rare.

Heard this thing coming from a ways back, so I was focusing on his shot. Once it passed by, I realized what I had been missing...

Let me tell you, an SLR Roadster chasing an F430 through traffic sounds unbelievable. Haven't heard something this intense in a long time.

R32's are so common around the markham area, its not even funny. 2 years ago, i almost wet my pants seeing a skyline. But they are now everywhere. Ive seen like 3 today. Ive even came across 2 skyline meets randomly.

Woke up to an email from a guy on another forum asking if i can give him a call,he asked if i wanted to come out for a run and well it would be rude to say no :D

You lucky, lucky SOB! 👍 Can you share with us your experience of the ride?

Great spot on the Fisker Joey. As mentioned before, those things are super rare. And they look so good! You're very lucky to have ever seen one, let alone photographed it - and in the wild!

any ideas you have of old lambos being harsh just throw them out the window cause its nothing like that at all,its extremely comfortable and loads of room inside(although i am 6'3 and my head was touching the roof) and sounds just like it does in cannonball fever! Although it doesnt fell all that brutal compared to the gallardo ive been in (maybe because of the gallardo E-gear.) Ah well today should be fun :D

Same in Aus.

Today I travelled to the "Hanging Rock", and saw the highest amount of photo worthy cars ever in my life for one day. I was in a guests car so no pics, sorry.
I saw:
About 8 E-Type Jag's, about 6 on a cruise together and 2 separate.
3 RS4's, black sedan, black wagon, and blue sedan
About 15~ Mustangs
5 Holden Monaro HK
Volvo P1800
Fiat Ritmo (First one ever I have seen, looks stunning)
3 Golf R32's
3 Holden Commodore GTS (Old one, not sure about which models)
Around 20 or so old/antique cars from what I thought is a Model T, and many others. Maybe there was an Auto Show on somewhere.
2 Holden Torana SLR500

Was a simply awesome day out 👍

Nice countach Holden 👍

You are one lucky guy to not only see it but know the owner and get a ride!

They're popular with the kids, who keep out of the downtown core so I don't see them as often as out in the burbs like you (same with STis). I don't consider them rare really, this was around the corner from my place so why not...

I fail to see your Civics in this picture. The low resolution and lack of interesting automobiles render this spot worthless.

Yeah, and there's some guy who's fitted Lambo doors to his car - OMFGWTFLOL etc until bored.

Nice meet. :)
