Today.
My first Audi R8.

Wow..... Congrats on your spot Serge, I didn't even seen one on the road as of yet. đź‘Ť

Holdenhsvgtsr: Nice Morgan Aeromax! Sure does look ugly..... Can't believe Richard Hammond bought one! :ouch:

Turbo Lag: Don't complain, at least you have a camera while I don't! :grumpy:

AU$600K?! Really? That's silly money. Even here you could buy 4 or 5 second hand Diablos for that.

Sorry, I haven't contributed to the thread for so long. Been in the Philippines - land of the Jeepney. Hope I'll be posting something noteworthy soon...

Probably, not that sure. A F360 CS cost around 500k or something brand new here so I can only assume a late model Diablo is around 600k ;)

It's a Dragon Series II Roadster, a replica of a Lister-Chevy. This one is even featured on their site. Owned by a 'Melodie Thompson'

Not likely. $600,000AU is rougly $566,356 US dollars, and after seeing a few Diablos in AU for sale, they're all averaging $320,000AU.

Spot of the weekend - Alpina B7

Today was cool and overcast all day, so I had my photos reflect that. I haven't posted in a couple days, so I hope this makes up for a little of that!

Everyone's been posting their first 1ntensity spots, and I finally spotted one, so here it is

104-5.jpg

Thought this was a little neat. Kind of a targa setup on an Alfa Spider (foreshadowing!!)

105-5.jpg

I'm seeing AMV8s as often as e60's and Maserati QP's but I'm not going to stop shooting them (I hope you don't mind ;)). Only got one "on film" today, and it was a beauty black (but I was upset I missed a nice silver with red ragtop)

Hard to tell on the small format, but the reflections on the hood are pretty neat. Too bad I was shooting 1/50 for the motion so I lost any good sharpness.

And a a little warmth to hopefully heat things up for the rest of the week. A super clean Giulia Sprint 1300 with crisp Mille Miglia Vegas like this particular example fetch near the price of that ML63 in some parts of the world.

I liked the old Carrera and the Z4M shot a lot. The rest looks good as well. đź‘Ť So Rue, how is the Philippines? Any good spots there? How you manage to post here? :P We want moar pics from you!!!

The Philippines was great, but wasn't exactly a hot-bed of outstanding cars, although there were a few interesting 70's modified Japanese cars and a couple of 70's US muscle cars. Apart from that, nothing. I didn't even take any pics. Sorry.

Of the ones I recognised, Toyota Celicas (A20 and A60 series) and some other things that I didn't. Useless eh?!

I've got an M6 shot on my cameraphone, but I've no idea how to upload it... :guilty:

I really should take my camera with me to more places....

*Maserati*

Looks like there's a couple Golfs back there too :).

Anybody know anything about this? I talked to a dealer on Monday and they said the MKV Jetta TDIs weren't supposed to start coming in until August.

EDIT: Perhaps it's a few years old? I don't know if they were still offering the old TDIs when the MKVs came out.

A few spots from me today, the weather was great, so I decided to take the camera out with me on my errands around Coventry.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they had the old TDI's in them for a while.
