BMW Z4 M Coupe (This was in my village the other day. Some of you may remember I spotted it over on Hong Kong Island in the small hours of the morning a couple of months ago. Odd that it should be outside my home. (In the circumstances, I have edited the number plate.)

how come there are barely any nice/rare cars in Markham...the best i've seen so is an R32, EVO X and a V8 Vantage :(.

Markham, Ontario?

Just go into Toronto, you'll see cars. But most of us work to get such good spots, when I go car watching it's typically at least a two hour affair where I go to about 10 different spots. If you want to see nice cars you must work for it. Look at Doug/M5Power's spots, he actively searches these vehicles out.

I don't have a driver's license and I live in Toronto. People just drive nice cars here. With just walking around town and not even trying to find nice cars I saw a 599GTB, Esprit V8 and Viper in the span of half an hour. TTC is your friend.

Despite my profile saying toronto, i live in markham and the majority of my spots are in markham.

Then again, my spots are nowhere on par with exigeracer. So i guess all the nice cars are downtown  There are also parts of richmond hill around the bayview area with nice cars.

Avenue and Bloor is probably the highest exotic population in the country. Most of my shots are take in a 2 or 3 block radius of that intersection.

Your typical rich neighbourhoods also have nice spots, Yorkville, Rosedale etc.

I've been working like a hound so I haven't had time to "take the long way home" to spot cars. Maybe a little update tomorrow night.

What's the background on the spoilered dark 25th Ann. holden? Is it Brooklands Green? If so, is it the same car that I saw in the next village to me here? Owner here was a Mr. B.

Last night as I stepped out of my place of work...

Ferrari F360 Modena

i just "happened" to come across these at a petrol station this morning.....

LAMBOS

damn, quite the spot, Countachs.

I'd kill to see a Countach in the street here.

OK, I'll start participating here, I finally got to edit and find some of the pictures I've taken over three years of car spotting in Mexico City, but thruth is Mexico is nothing like what you usually post, in Mexico you see one Ferrari a year, and one lambo every five, due to the low buying power of mexico's population, it doesnt have exotic cars almost at all; but you can actually find some old cars that are very intresting, and a LOT of abandoned cars, wich suits me fine because I love to find old cars rotting to death. Yes im weird.

I had a car-spotting site some two years ago (Rue saw it) and I'll be posting some of the pictures I took for that since I dont have an every-day camera right now and I cant walk in the street with even my Canon S2 or I'll be robbed within 3 meters, let alone the SLR.

I have tons, bur so far these are the ones that arent burned in CDs, so here it goes:

A 450 sl benz with horrible wheels, pretty rare over here as these weren't officially sold in Mexico, Mercedes abandoned the mexican market in the mid-60s (as a lot of other automakers) because of a law that required your cars to be entirely made in Mexico, and didnt come back till the early 90s:

450sl.jpg

at it's side was this, a 54 Ford F100 truck that's a daily driver, pretty rough:

bluf100.jpg

behind it, the coolest one, a completely wasted F100 pickup complete with coaches in the bed and full graffiti paint job, it was beautiful (note th Merc in the background):

graff100.jpg

then, this Ford Maverick that has been sitting in the same spot for about six months, I saw it running before that; nothing special, it isnt even a V8 but look at how good and rust-free it is, and it has the scooped hood, it's ripe for a hot small block transplant, copious suspension changes and Minilites:

mavscoops.jpg

Close to it, this mid-80s mexican Caribe GT, the name of the MKI GTI in Mexico, pretty cool looking, complete with Recaros and extra gauges inside:

silvergt.jpg

that's it for today, I'll be posting seeeveral more in the next days as soon as I find them in the tons of CDs I have.

Great to have you back Cano! Let me restore some balance to your world with this immaculately standard SL from Friday...

Proving once again that the 25 Anniversary looks much better than the 5000QV.

You must book yourself in for a check up at the opticians immediately!
