Did You See Anything Good Today? [Read First Post]

I think I saw a 2006 XK driving round on dealer plates the other day. It was only a mile or so from the dealer and because I was on the bus there was no chance chance of a photo even on my phone.

Strangely though I haven't seen a new XK on the forecourt at the dealer yet

Went to South London today to visit my uncle, quite a lot of nice motors today, not a lot of pics though

I also saw a Rolls Royce Phantom today. I was about to pass a bus which was on the opposite side of the road when the Phantom appeared in my lane and i had to give it way.

nope, it doesn't at all, in fact IF it sticks out in any way then because it is kinda ugly. i've seen several of them already and i was never impressed, nor did they stand out of the mass (other than being massive)

In the UK you seem them ALL the time. Fact

I see them just a little less than I see Audi TTs, which are as common as the white lines on the road.

Agreed, the whole idea of cars that are "interesting" depends entirely on personal preference and location...besides, the name of the thread is "Did You See Anything Good Today?"....not "Did You See Anything Rare And Expensive Today?"...

I can understand the desire for photographic proof, but judging people's automotive tastes and labelling their contributions "uninteresting" or "pointless" is something I would not have expected to see at GTPlanet.👎

The reason there's disagreement is that the Lotus Elise is not seen as 'special' in the UK. It is in the US and north America, but not so muchin the UK, even though I don't see them as much as I wished I did.

The Hyundai Coupe on the other hand is alot cheaper and alot less rare. It would however, be helpful if hydr0x could disclose his location.

A CLS 55 AMG flew past the Renault Kangoo I was travelling in at about junction 37 of the M4.

The sound it made was truely terrific, especially compared to the Jaguar XKR which did the same a few miles later.

I see at least a dozen of those Hyundai Coupes every day!!! - don't get me wrong, they're nice cars, but hardly rare!

That Civic isn't a special edition, its the 'Sport' model - a Type R lite

there are 4 ferrari 308's in my village..2 of them are in a special car dealer and 1 at the garage (the owner has one) and a black one but i dont have a picture of that one
this is the one at the garage: (there is a impreza WRX STI behind it)

the other 2 in the special car dealer

they got a 348 there too

so in total 5 ferrari's in a village with 4500 people...
at the dealer there are 2 honda NSX:tup:

and lots of porches. many people make test drives with them so i see them regulary

outside i saw a porsche 911 turbo

and a 911 carrera S they just took out for a test drive
