Posted this elsewhere but now I see this thread I think I'll post here also.

Note the number plate also, classy !

Not especially special, but odd circumstances.

A brand new Pontiac Solstice, with a "for sale" sign. Odd in that someone bought one and is already aparting with it, not at a dealer.

Well I bet they are getting a pretty penny for it since its almost impossible to find one at a dealer.

well there are two in my town. but that made me laugh so hard. poor guy probrably brought one home and got in trouble with his mrs. had to sell it and probrably ended up making more than what he paid. gain or loss???

I saw one in the city on sat. It flew by me on 880-680 doing around 90mph so I only got a good look at the back of it. I asked myself "what car is that?", the first thing that came to mind was the solstice convertible. I didnt know if it had came out yet seeing this is the first one I have seen, so I was a little supprised:crazy:

Yeah, I've seen a few, but I much prefer the Sky.
I saw a Sky the other day, but she had dealer stickers on her. Looked to be a test drive.

Good chance its the same one, if so he/she must like going shopping with it.

Maybe, but I don't know where the other car's picture was taken.

Uh, where on Earth did you see a M6 Conv.? B/c to my knowledge, the Conv. are still testing and won't be on the market for a while.
Maybe i got confused wit ha dif BMW convirtable, causei remember seeing a M6. I don't have great memory, and i don't really follow on BMW production cars.

I know it's not a Ferrari or Porsche but I saw a Nissan Pulsar Gti-R today with........a Mitsi Galant VR4 motor, forged internals and a T4 turbo! And a mad camo paintjob.

I thought it was worth a mention at least for the "interesting" engine swap.

Here's my contribution so far... Nothing special, and certainly not the only one I've seen on the road - there's quite a lot around here - but I got a few photos of this one, so here you are 👍

In the UK you seem them ALL the time. Fact

I see them just a little less than I see Audi TTs, which are as common as the white lines on the road.

:irked:

I believe this is the first Carlsson S500 in the thread.

I've been driving by a local Ford dealership for work on a regular basis lately, with a Ford GT and a Saleen S281 in the showroom. Since I was close today, and not working, I went in and had a close look at the pair. White/blue GT is simply amazing. Even the underside is panelled for the aerodynamics. The diffusers hiding under the bumper make the car look very menacing and purposeful from the rear. The paint on this car was some of the smoothest, well finished I have seen. However, I was rather underwhelmed by the interior (Couldn't sit in, but free to look), and the seats look rather uncomfortable, but very simple and probably purposeful. It was actually already sold, and this was one of the last days it was going to be in the dealership.
The S281 is a nice car as well, but is very overshadowed by a quarter-million dollar supercar sitting five feet away. Bright, eye-catching yellow with very nice wheels. The interior is surprisingly complete, with nothing missing that I could spot from the original car.
Sorry guys, no pics this time, but the dealership's address is www.suburbanmotors.com. They might have an image or two.

couldnt get any pics as i was driving but on the way up to northamton again i saw an m5 (in the same metallic red as the m6 comes in, looked real nice) shortly followed by a porsche 996 gt3 (second ive ever seen, facelift version with the flat back spoiler) and a red testarossa (only the 2nd ive ever seen)

Some pretty interesting cars.

Sunday I was at work and a guy and his wife or girlfriend roll up in a new red viper convertable. The guy took five minutes to park the thing, due to the fact that he wanted to park it far away. I guess that I would do the samething also if I had the car.

I've seen a lot them, but I said I hadn't seen a lot of them for a while.

Played footy today, rode shotgun with my mate.

Saw a 911 Targa as it should be and a nicely done E36.

I unfortunatly dont have a picture (i was working at the time) but today I say a nice, new Ferrari F430. Pininfarina has done a fine job on that one. Funny thing is, I was working in a not-so-good part of North-Seattle, dunno what he was doing out there.

Yesterday while I was going to a restaurant I saw a red Viper coupe (the new one) a blue WRX STi and a black Nissan Skyline GTR (R33) in the parking lot. Sadly I didn't have a camera on me.
