I doubt it no-one's claiming to have seen a Lotec C1000, wherever you live the chances are that through out a day you'll see something nice and expensive, you just have to notice it. I see Ferrari's and Lamborghini's all the time on the street's, I see an Alpine A310 every day and I take more notice of that, also theres a few Aston Martin owners in my area and a truck load of 911 owners, they're all over the place, a person passing through might not notice them.GT4_RuleI wonder if anyone here is making a "Ludicrous Claim"....

I was driving to school last thursday, and I saw a black Cobra pull out onto the road I was driving, followed him, he was going same way as me, and I rode alongside him on the city highway. Took out my camera phone to take a pic, but sadly he floored it like 1 sec before I could take a picture and just vroooooom. 💡
Did I mention how amazing that 427 V8 sounded?

Where i live i always see range rover sports which are nice, db9's once in awhile, 1 or 2 TVR's and seen a jaguar x-type and xj yesterday. Porsches are as common as peugot 206's around here. Ive only just moved here so it's still a shock to see so many nice cars in the same place lol. Anyway next time i see them ill try and get photos.

Well I do have a picture of the Cobra going away really fast in the distance on my phone. But I don't know how to get a pic off my phone.
I read the original post about outlandish claims, and I agree, there were some people who said they saw a Veyron or something, without pics to proove it, there's no point to it.
But rest assured, I'm not lying here and I really did see a '67 Cobra 427. It's probable that it was a replica (or kit car), but it completely looked like the real thing and sounded really really really nice.
That's probably the best car I've seen in a very long time.
If someone can help me on how to get pictures off my camera phone, I'll gladly put them up on imageshack.

But as promised I got my phone back this morning and here is the photo I was tell you about. It's an old Porsche 356 Speedster I found out after some internet research.
And since this picture kinda sucks, this is the car I'm talking about.

The Encounter
I was driving on the twisty road that runs around my college, In my AE82 Chevrolet Nova. It was a nice day, and my car doesn't have air conditioning, so my windows were down.
suddenly, I spotted something very sleek. and Yellow. Lotus Yellow. It was pulling onto the road ahead....
I found myself going 10 mph over the speed limit. thankfully, he was behaving, so I caught up to him...and the magic noise of a twin turbo V-8 could be heard hidden within the roar of the onrushing air past the window. It was a Lotus Espirit. The Final Version.
I live in Central Illinois. We rarely see Vipers, and they sell them nearby, in Roanoke! A car like this...I found myself going out of my way to follow it.
We pulled out onto U.S. Route 24, and I found myself holding my 4A-LC's throttle wide open to keep up! He wasn't even trying to go fast! That sweet noise it made is etched in my brain.
and then, he turned off the highway.
I wanted to follow, but I needed to get home. I heard the engine wind up as he rushed down the offramp, and I watched it dissappear.
I'm NOT going to forget this encounter. Itt'l stay with me forever.
