Keep posting all your great and interesting spots, Cano. Anyone that complains about the content in your posts is in a massive minority and has no business complaining about them here.
:)👍

*The reason i couldn't find any info on Bauer is because it's actually called Baur. Doh!!!!
Thanks for the info on the car TheCracker.👍

Today in the rain.

Ford Mustang.

Danny, is the Escort to replace that Matiz you try to pass off as a car?

I've seen golf carts with bigger engines.:P

You guys get all the nice Escorts and Focuses while we're stuck with this trash.

Escort.

/rant on crappy American Fords.

this is a good, reliable auto. and for a mid 90s econobox it doesnt look that bad, either. sure its not a sports car and the sporty version was...not quite an RS...but we americans got the probe and mustang with a v8 making barely 200 horsepower.

okay, so thats not any consolation, but the american escort after 97 was reliable and thrifty on gas. i have one in white.

*snip*

I've had the displeasure of being in both, and I can seriously say that older Escort is by far better than the new plastic edition Focus. I took 1 car ride in it with my girlfriend and her mom, and I was constantly thinking: Wow. Ford sure knows how to use plastic to a fault. There really was plastic everywhere, not even good quality, like you could see where someone cut it to size with a Dewalt power saw or something.

But the next day I take a ride in an F-150 and there is leather. EVERYWHERE. Rode better than the Focus too in every way, but it was a truck. I'm shocked, even if it does cost 20 grand more.

Cars will always be plastic. They'll never get better.

America likes their trucks. And I love Fords trucks and vans. They're well built. You know that its going to last. I ride in my dads truck every day and I love it. F350 with powermods ftw.

The same brand and model cars. But different years. I think thats what he's getting at.

Interesting how the newer model takes design cues from the old one. They did a nice job on whatever car that is.

It's a Hyundai Elantra. Must not get those in California. Apparently the first generation was also a five door.

Ohh. But what has modern design taught us? Cover our black steelies with crap hubs? Those steel colored steelies on the old one are cooler.

Actually I think exige has captured the sole surviving Hyundai Pony in existence... I haven't seen one of those in about 10 years!

I was genuinely surprised at finding one, then absolutely had to take the picture when I noticed the Elantra behind it!

I bet it would've gotten me money points in the GTP Scavenger Hunt. :(

Actually a Pony in apparently good condition must be at least on the level of a 959 or f40 surely...

Finally saw a ZR1. Sadly I wasn't overly impressed with it. I could only get it from the back due to how traffic was though.

wow, I wish I could see a ZR1, but it wont be sold in Mexico. It's a monster.

Also, good spots lately on the Rally-style early EVO (needs a cage), the SLR and that 928, I love those.

Invisble +rep Joey!

Looks as sleeper as a 'Vette can from behind. And that red is definately better than the crappy blue in all the magazines.

I'll give it the reliable bit, and it isn't an eyesore either, but it just feels cheap to be in one. You know how when you sit in a Camry or even a Cavalier from those years it feels pretty solid? You don't really get that in an Escort.

Cars will always be plastic. They'll never get better.

Yes, but the sheer amount of plastic in this thing is just mind boggling! It's like they didn't know what vynil was in existence when it was made, nevermind leather.

What can I say, we know how to make trucks. Better than late model cars

I followed him off the freeway, but I lost interest quick after hearing how "meh" the car sounded. I don't know I know it's stupidly fast and everything but it just doesn't have the wow factor I was expecting it to have. I was actually surprised it wasn't running M plates either which means he bought it from a dealership.
