Not good but certainly rare, the Chrysler TC by Maserati. Yes it's an overpriced LeBaron and yes it was in the mid $30K's during the late 80's. Why would anyone honestly buy one?

New BMW M3 Convertible...yes I know there is an enormous crack in my windscreen.

No need to knock the cars we all admire so much because of the actions of a ridiculously small minority of drivers. Here's yet another much-needed lesson to certain GTP members (I'm NOT calling out Danachronism but rather several) that a) stereotyping is bad and b) jealousy is worse.

I've now got a sweet road bike, so I can get around faster than traffic and see more photo opportunities, but I can also just follow random cars for the hell of it. I tailed this R8 for about 15 blocks waiting for him to park. I would've tried to get some rolling shots, but for now I need 110% of my attention on the road and other drivers and pedestrians, so I haven't mastered the bike-to-car action shots. Oh yeah, it was also raining pretty hard.

I lost him after he turned into a private parking garage.

I'm not close to Silicon Valley.... Yes there are tons of rich people but 90% of them keep them in there garage.

Yes SF is absolutely amazing no doubt, not only in the exotic scene but you see a lot of really nicely done imports. Once I get a car hopefully in December I'll be taking regular cruises to SF. But from what I remember DC was better then SF, but heh who knows. Also I think San Diego is better then SF. You can literally walk outside and bam there a 355 and a 360 parked at the shopping center down the street.

Mill Valley is also the host of a billion rich people, I passed through there everyday on my way home from summer classes, not really much shows up there. Mostly just Mercedes, Beemers, and Audi's laying around. Oh yeah a lot of Volvo's too.

When my sister gets back from vacation with my camera I'll go on a all day bike ride or something or maybe take the bus to the city with a friend and see what I can come up with.

Mill Valley is the city I lived in when I was still in that area. My stepfather who owned the house never had anything better than a Saab. One of his employees however had a 355 back when they were brand new. To this day after seeing that car it is still probably my favorite model of any car.

Z4 coupe (I didn't even know they made these outside of the M; looks good)

I love those. A guy used to drive one where I used to work, they look even better in the 'flesh'.

BTW, Wednesday night expect a mahoosive post from me, I'm off to London. :P

Please try put all your pictures into the same post.

Did you take the actual pics? They're different sizes and watermarked...

^ We try to just post pictures we've taken, of cars we've seen.

Today wasn't to exciting: Mustang, Lightning, Spyder VR4, & C5 conv. I think I saw an E46 M3 in traffic.

So here are some old Ford/DeTomaso Pantera show shots. I have this wierd hunch they're the same car, just modified over the years...

Surprisingly enough IIRC that car hasnt had an engine rebuilt yet :nervous:

There is no way. I was talking to a guy who works on it, he said that it couldn't run more than half an hour without blowing, which was last May. Cars pushing that much power and aren't built can't go so long, and have to be regularly maintained if they are built. I don't know if it ran all winter, but two summers in a row of nothing but time attack can kill anything.

1000hp and constant racing, and they've never had to repair it once? I don't believe it either. Running the "same engine" all year doesn't mean much.
