Yeah deffo the 3-door is better than the 5-door, Muz.

I can't see your pic MazdaZXi but I found one on GIS and it does look like it would draw some attention I agree!

Wow. the Royce, from the back, looks ridiculously Ordinary. If I hadn't seen the front pic, I'd have accused you of taking a photo of a 1989 Camry.
Well, crappy blurred pics are better than no pics at all! Just ask all the Bigfoot and Loch Ness conspirasts! :P
Thanks. :)
Serge, I have the same issue but when I got my camera I made sure it had a good image stabilization system on it and you see how my photos turn out. I get some blurry ones but for the most part they aren't bad.

Don't worry Serge, I have the same problem. I cannot for the life of me keep my hands from slightly shaking either. I have also had the problem since I was young. I for one definitely want you to keep posting pictures. You bring some wonderful spots to the thread and also help keep the thread alive. Keep up the good work! 👍
Thanks. :)👍
Well its okay. 👍 Maybe you can get a small tripod and carry it with you everyday. :P As some has mentioned, you do get to manage to spot some good cars in this thread......
Thanks.:):tup:Maybe I will bye one.
Serge, photos like the Maserati were taken in broad daylight, where an unsteady hand couldn't blur a photo unless you really tried. I don't think you're letting your camera focus long enough. Point and shoot doesn't mean point and shoot right away on cheaper digital cameras. Press the shutter halfway for a couple seconds and makes sure the camera's focused on something before pressing the button all of the way.
I will l try it.:)👍
Usually there's a sound to warn you the camera has focused on something.

I just said that before because Serge has already posted very sharp pics, and lately most of them are very blurred, even on situations like that parked Maserati.

Like exige said, it's most likely due to shooting before the camera focuses on the subject. Easily solved. 👍
The car was parked between a dark place and a place
with a lot light.I hope you understand what I mean.

'08 Saab 9-3 Turbo X Sports Sedan I think looks awesome. I took a picture of the info sheet just to remember the full car name after school, but decided to keep it. $45 grand! Pretty steep.

I saw a very rare 1940 Ford Deluxe! I did take pictures but it was my mom's cell and as of now there is no way to show the pictures to you guys right now.:grumpy:

But a image from the internet will have to do for now:
2379546026_3ee28df86a_b.jpg

It was even for sale! It looked very refurbished from the outside too!

So I haven't stopped shooting, just been having computer issues and my new comp is mega back-order, then when it finally gets here my school needs to image it with all my new software, so it isn't looking too good for updating everything for a good week. I did shoot this 575M today that I just have to share.

First of all, I have to say that postings here have gotten a bit...exotic...what with the P2 and Stratos Zero. Makes just about all my findings seem really pedestrian. The only consolation is that they are show/showroom photos. Must try harder, though. :grumpy:

A 1968, yes? Right smack in the middle of the good years for the Mustang, and by far my favorite. Thank you, Frank Bullitt.

Reventón;3152806
It's a TT-S model, one we are not blessed with in the states.

Not yet, at least. ;)

Oh, I had to jump on the Prodrive bandwagon: that P2 is nice!! I have those exact wheels, sitting in storage for my STi. My lone legit link to Prodrive. :indiff:

Not linked to Prodrive in any way:

Chevrolet Bel Air 1962

Not crazy about the lowrider wheels, but it's nice to see a Bel Air that wasn't built in 1957.

Volvo 164e

Me and my strange attachment to Volvo's. Sorry, Doug.

Ducati 991

Not too sure on the model, but it certainly is a yellow Ducati. Starting to really like bikes. Still won't ever ride one. :indiff:

Ferrari 550M

I think I've posted this before. Keep waiting for this guy to bring out one of the other dozen or so Ferrari's he has.

Ford Mustang Saleen S281 Supercharged

For an area of the country that's not flashy, there sure are a lot of Saleen's around here.

Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG

After having seen this car many times in the city, I finally was able to capture it on film...er, pixels. It sounded phenomenal in the tunnel we're exiting here. My vote for best Mercedes engine ever, and probably best German V8 in a long, long time.

Volvo 164e

Me and my strange attachment to Volvo's. Sorry, Doug.

Damn it. Everytime I see one of these older Volvo's I start dreaming about doing a complete overhaul to my 240. Now if only i had the cash for it. :/

Why won't you ride bikes? Some kind of injury preventing that?

Looks like a 1968

Took this a while ago... Snap, Serge!?!

This evening...

Got my 2 cameras back from C#%*n. One of them now works like it should, whilst the other is the same as when it went in - well done C#%*n, I'm just loving your after sales support! Anyway, went out after work with flu, in polluted air and 35 degree heat to test them out - a couple of spots made it worthwhile...

Im going to be using puerto banus as my last hurrah as it were, then I'm done with car spotting, I've seen all the cars I have wanted to.👍

Nice to have you back again dissing Canon, Rue (:

Big post again, ok?

First up, this thing, sorry for the bad quality, the camera I had with me had no optical zoom, as such, I can’t identify the car, but it sure was big.
sert003.jpg

Black, Center Line-shod Trans Am, uncommon car here, way rarer than a same-gen Camaro.
pseudoboss080.jpg

Chevy Corvair hardtop, rare sight here, never sold in Mexico:
various001.jpg

Yet another Galaxie, this time a 65 I think… man these things are huge.
rrs017.jpg

While riding with a friend in his Mustang this thing blew by us at about 130 mph; my friend only told me “look what’s coming”, and since it was going that fast Im surprised the pic came out this well; I know this car, its not original Saleen but a clone with a 600-horse 351 and six speed and more suspension stuff than I have ever seen, it really hauls ass. My friend tried to catch it but his 4.6 stock Stang could do nothing.
toluca1095.jpg

Check out the teeth on this 55 Dodge three-ton truck, gigantic in every way! Used to haul fair stuff around.
uio005.jpg

This thing was cool, a Renault 4 (The most complete I’ve ever seen) that’sbeen retired from the road and now serves as a coffee shop; check out the eyes and the custommade tall roof:
u7n002.jpg

Power Wagon for sale and lacking lots of pieces, but it seemed like a good foundationfor a project; these things are enormous and sure look powerful.
various021.jpg

Renault Floride/Caravelle, incredibly rarehere since it never came to Mexico afaik.
vw010.jpg

Another mid-late-90s Supra, really rare cars here, Toyota came to Mexico 7 years ago at most:
tla015.jpg

This thing was also cool, an early Jeep Wagoneer turned into a roadster; check out the absence of doors, the Mustang hoodscoop, custom rollbar and bumpers and wiiiiiide tires, it must have been a pretty damn cool car when it ran, because this was taken at a local junkyard. I’d drive it. Hard.
weso019.jpg

Cammo-ed Willys and VW Thing, and pretty well preserved also, weird spot.
roma031.jpg

Then this severely modified SN95, not a real Saleen but a very good-looking clone, I really liked the rollcage; check out the people drooling over it like wtf… it was also supercharged, it had the unmistakable pulley whine:
toluca1088.jpg

I was told this is a Karmann –Ghia ragtop, but judging by the severe rust, its not anymore, been under that tarp for years:
rev015.jpg

We drove by this Maverick in the exact instant before he put the gas pedal in the floor and the two rears smoked like crazy, the guy blew past us (The car sounded MEAN, a very aggressive cam profile) and whacked second right in front of us, smoking the tires again, then got lost in traffic. Cool. Had been a while since I saw someone I don’t know doing stupid stuff on the street. Car is not bad either, excellently restored and the wheels I kinda like:
museo147.jpg

Rear shot of the Mexican Alpine –Dinalpin- I showed you earlier, rare Mexican made Alpine, worth big cash in France for freak value alone:
gomezurquiza017.jpg

CLS just because I love how it looks, nothing really special:
chuikita108.jpg

Awesome 64 Galaxie ragtop in sky blue with very cool wheels, not overdone at all, and in great shape. I wish I found more ragtops:
ppoi057.jpg

And finally, to everyone’s pleasure, a pair of riced-out bugs to keep with tradition:

Yeah, good to have the camera back. I missed not being able to join in! Ace spots as usual Cano. Your photos always portray the atmosphere of where you live, so well. I'll try to stop hating Canon openly in my posts in the future too (I love them really), I'm sure when it comes to getting a new camera at a later date I will eat my words and opt for a Canon as usual.

Thanks for the comments, if I had known the Mav would pull such a show I’d have video’d it, awesome car, a pity we could not catch up with him but the car was fast and we were on a 95 Grand Voyager -_-

Enjoy polution Rue, about 15 years ago Mexico City looked like your avatar, it’s been controlled by a program that gives you a colour sticker for your car (see in my pictures, you can spot it in most back windows), to wich belongs a day in the week where you can’t use your car; pollution dropped dramatically and today the sky is blue again in the good days, but yeah, I know how it feels to look out the window at a sky seemingly made of cake bake.

EDIT: Gotdamn old cars! The Cadoo seems like a big block model, but the really BIG one, a 500 cubic inch engine, the biggest engine ever put in a production contemporary car, 500 lb/ft of torque from factory. I’d so rip that engine out and wham, into a Pinto with stock hubcaps, Ultimate street sleeper. Awesome spot on the military truck and the Fiat too! Great post Joey (:

Passat CC, I didnt even know they started to make these things. This car does not belong to dealership. I think its a corporate car from VW's head office somewhere here in Kanada

First off, excellent spots Rue! 👍 It is also nice to see you posting again. I look forward to more wonderful sightings.

Next, more nice spots Cano and keep the interesting spots coming! 👍

The new Cayman S Sport.:)

Nice job on these photos Serge! 👍 They look to be nicely in focus. I also really like the black wheels on the silver car; that particular color combination works extremely well. Just out of curiosity, what is the blue thing on top of the car?
