Thanks for the comments guys. Round two possibly tonight.

And Exige, the second picture of the SLR… great GRRRREAT use of the reflections, it gives life to the picture, you outdid yourself with that one, very good eye. In general nice photography dude, I loooooooove the face of the guy driving the Cobra! Like “mwahaha, idiots!”… I bet you heard it before you saw it and that gave you time to turn the camera on. More shutter speed so more blur! It would have been awesome. Or you could have told him to peel away, that would have been even better.

I got a couple shots of the Cobra, nothing more interesting than that. I was pretty close to him, so any slower shutter speed and the rotation of the car going by might've killed any sharpness left on the car.

I'll update my thread soon, I've got some other stuff to get through first. In retrospect, the Maserati photo worked out perfect. Exposure spot on, reflections are great and the depth worked out on the foreground.

Hmm, there are a few C-Class Mercedes Benz around these parts, but i think they're mainly tourists, there's not really many rich locals down here. I did see a Porsche Boxster a while ago and i didn't know the person that drove it so i assume he was from Adelaide or somewhere.

Boxters are pretty damn common around here. I usually see atleast one every day.

Good spots Turbz. 👍

Thanks Serge 👍.

I'm convinced. 👍

This spot was from about a week ago. I think the badging on the back said 'Street Machine' or something like that.

STi (common enough, I just really like the color. I talked to the owner and he sounds like just another ricer. No performance tuning, just a fart can. But apparantly he has taken it to a track, so there's hope yet.)

Oh my lord, that is ghastly. I don't know how they allow that thing to be on the road, there are innocent children walking around.

A Ludacris once said:

"Welcome to Atlanta where the playas play
And we ride on them things like every day
Big beats, hit streets, see gangsta's roamin'
And parties dont stop til' eight in the mornin'"

This was an NSX AUTOMATIC!!!!!!!!! Incredibly rare and rather more pointless

This coming from the guy who protests thats automatics are better than manuals every chance he can.

So they still make their utes huge in America.... The STI is pretty common here, not too expensive either.

I'd always figured utes were different as the front of a truck couldn't be mistaken for the front half of a car. The only utes in America would be the El Camino and Ranchero (at least I think), trucks are different.

I call what you call a truck a tractor trailer, or big rig.

Cheers, i didnt think to look it up, they look alarmingly different now that i've googled it, but its only the 2nd first gen celica i've seen and almost 3 years since my first. :)

Wow, still plenty of them here.

Which is still called a truck by most Americans (United Statians), including official Guiness books of records (with the Commdore ute).

When I first visited the US when I was 8 I was really suprised that US-ians called what I thought as utes, trucks.

I've never actually called them a truck, but I've never really known what to call them.

Is it that hard to say Americans, USians sounds terrible.

Well the full name is pickup truck, but most people either say pickup or truck. We call the big trucks semis or big rigs, as Diablo said. I call El Caminos and Rancheros cars.

My friend was driving home the other day, (hes in town from Alaska, and surprisingy there are a ton of exotics in anchorage) but he called me up like 120 minutes after we parted ways, he was passed by a Bugatti Veron. he got a ****ty iphone picture and when i get it ill post it. but damn. thats a nice car! off and on here in ANN Abor i see the usual muscle cars, we have a few lambos a few Lotus's (and a Lotus dealer) ive seen a bentley or 2.
