I see you drove an hour! Nice sot with the DBS Volante! I find it hard to believe that as much money as there is in Houston, I've never seen a DBS in the wild. I've only seen a few at Aston Martin of Houston.

I hope to go into Houston to my spotting locations this weekend to get some mega spots!

On another note, does anyone have any ideas for scavenger hunt categories? Maybe we can get some free practice in.

I thought It looked clean compared to the others I've seen. It's good so cars kept up in good condition, even if they are a bank security car.

Yep, got my hour drive in :D. The main goal was an AWESOME junkyard (no pictures though) and the rich area was on the way home.

I'm not going to hide it, there is an Aston dealership about 5 minutes from where I saw it. BUT it wasn't at it so it's fair game .

GOOOD LORD!!!! Nismo, a Duesenberg!!!! OMG a Duesenberg!!! dude, do you even remotely know how STUPIDLY RARE that car is??? I just cant believe someone actually saw a Duesy on the road!!! amazing, incredible, the spot of the enire freaking thread for me. Screw black Enzos, MC12s and McLarens, this thing is the rarest car this thread has ever seen, and maybe it will ever see. Incredible incredible spot dude, really.

It seems to be a 1934-35 J model... got dang incredible spot, amazing car. You have the Cano Medal for Awesomeness in the Street right now, chuck.

the other cars are awesome also, specially the Nova and the chopped dodge, but the Duesy will be something that won't be topped in a long time... heck, probably never.

Old Dodge

IMG_0063-1.jpg

Not just an ordinary everyday Dodge.

'68 Dart GTS,if it's unmolested after all these years,it should have a 440 or a 383 under the hood.

Or,it could be a clone :grumpy:

Either way,nice spot Nismo 👍

Crappy cell phone quality, but you know what it is. Only one in Western Colorado.

Nice! I'm going to Colorado in two weeks. Breckenridge to be specific. But I'm not sure how the car spotting is. I've been to Colorado many times, but that was before I started spotting.

Cano, I've seen a few Doozies in Houston, but I passed them up. When I see another one, I'll get some pictures onto here.

Unfortunately, I don't have photos to prove it, but this past week has been pretty good from a car spotting perspective. All were seen on the road being driven:

1933 or '34 Packard phaeton
late '30s or early '40s Packard sedan
Datsun 610 coupe lightly modified
First gen Toyota Celica liftback lightly modified

I went to a classic car show this weekend and saw some real gems,...here a just a few. :)

Nice pics! I love the Carrera so much.

We keep this thread for stuff you've seen in the wild or on the open road If you've seen something in a show car park, you can put them in here...

I have a bunch of car park pics from this weekend too. Here's a sneak peak...

Here are a couple from back in HK:

Sorry for the long post. I had a big day on Saturday! What's the record for single day spots? I think I might have broken it.

I keep missing a chance to take pictures of the Elises here. However, I did see a rather nice 289 Mustang! Happened to meet the owners, too; it's his daily driver!

Also caught this Karmann Ghia at Harbor Freight.

Long-overdue update for you guys. Not much photography in the past few weeks, just some random snaps. There seems to be less cars out there that previous summers and the exotics I do see are places I've already shot and shared here. I also like biking for the sake of biking instead of biking for the sake of shooting. Here's a couple selections from the summer so far:

Next two are among my all-time favorite cars:

Love this car too, despite the fact that it has become relatively common (I guess I like shooting with smudged lenses too!)

And here's something for Cano. I have to admit I had absolutely no friggin' idea what this was until I got home and looked it up. I don't think I'll be seeing another one of these for a while:
