Just bought a Nikon D80 off a work colleague. Never had an SLR before so I'm just finding my feet. These are from today. Pretty nice S15 I found down a dark back road this evening. Before you ask, the silver Kei car is a Daihatsu Naked and yes the WRX photo has been tinkered with.

I would assume just painted up, though I am not really sure on the differences that the Nismo possess. I have seen the Skyline on another occasion and took pictures of that time also. The car had a different set of wheels on it this time.

I'm not sure why, but it's becoming a trend to drive racecars on the streets of Houston. Another example is this Nissan GT-R Racecar I found recently:

I've also seen a GT3 Cup Car driving around Houston. I guess the wealthy people need a new way to distinguish themselves!

Why do you see so many nice cars at Home Depot? At my Home Depot, there's just a bunch of normal cars.

I don't know. I'm surprised at the amount of things I see. The GM cars are because we have the Proving Grounds about 20 minutes away, but the others just show up.

How far from your house do you have to go till you start seeing nice cars? I usually have to travel pretty far in to Houston to see all the exotics that I do.

To see Ferraris and stuff it's about an hour, muscle cars I just have to look outside, and new/concept cars are everywhere. But for guaranteed cars it's usually an hour, like tomorrow .

It's a half hour drive for me in light traffic. Here is a map:

Point A is my house, and point B is the general area where about 95% of my spotting takes place. Usually during week days, I'll drive south of my house to the area you see on the map labeled "Cinco Ranch." That area offers moderate spotting, nothing to get excited about though.

I guess I'm pretty lucky to live in a city with alot of wealth and alot of nice cars! And now those wealthy people are starting to buy Cup Cars and Racing cars to drive around. I don't think it will be too long before I see an old Formula 1 car being driven down the street!

Thanks for reminding me, I can feel the burn at the back of my head from my mate who use to introduce these forgotten gems to me.

Some shots from today when I walked mindlessly around Milan city center until I had just over an hour to get back to the main station to catch my train back home, just one of those things I like to do when visiting a new place... walk endlessly and then find my way back, that way I learn the lay of the city without really having to study maps before hand.

Saw a few Porsches, didn't bother taking most of them (run of the mill Carreras and Caymans). I took this one mostly because of what was behind it

I thought it was a Cupra R... but was fooled

BTW, this is the kind of taxis they have in Milan, there's Prius, Kuga, new Renault and Citroen cars, and even Mercedes estates, all in white.

The only other Porsche I bothered capturing

First Maserati spot since arriving in Italy, a local was checking out the car when I was photographing it, guess they aren't that common here

Finally, I saw this one pulling out of traffic in the distance, luckily I had my zoom lens and managed to snap one pic, this is 'highly' cropped, so I'm really glad I had a steady hand while standing in the middle of a pedestrian crossing shooting about 70 meters away.

Another police vehicle, I was told these are "investigatory" police patrols. They basically go around assessing small incidences and decide whether to call in the 'real' police.

Now, as mentioned before, here's a small batch of motocycles I though that was pretty awesome (in my very limited knowledge of motocycles)
