I've got no pics because my camera died, but I saw a blue newer model Lotus Elise in the parking lot of a local bar.
Also, my neighbor has a '62 Buick Special in his garage (needs carburetor work.)
I'll post the pics as soon as my camera is working again...

R8 and if you look close enough you can see the Canadian only fugly bumperettes to meet our 5mph bumper regulations....

Anyone know what this is?

wtfox.jpg

That's a rickshaw or trishaw, or "three-wheeler". It's mainly found in east-asian countries, as a form of taxi-cab.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cycle_rickshaw

When I went over to east-asia a couple of years ago, that was the basic form of public transport.

They usually have a small 700cc engine, basically a motorcycle with 2 rear wheels and extra room for 3 passengers.

Looks like it's got a handle bar moustache. Without the moustache.

Yep haha. Turns out it was a first year only thing for us up here. We dropped that strict bumper rule in favour of one similar to the American 3mph rule. You should have seen our first gen Audi TT's, just a slab of plastic across the front and rear bumpers! Or the Canadian Ford GT's with extensions on the rear bumper! I was wondering why I've been seeing Evo 9's and GTO's these days.

Correction ;),it's a'72 Chevelle SS. Possibly could have been a Z-15 optioned 454 rated @ 270hp.But more commonly produced were the small block 350's rated at 175hp (emmisions muscle,),but still not a bad car.Take it home,do some tweaking, and your back up in the big hp range. Keep in mind, there are also a lot of clones out there,it may not even be a real SS.This could have been a basic Malibu with a 307 ci, and cloned up to resemble an SS.

Wrong, it's a '71. ;) Note that there is body color between the grille and headlight, whereas on the '72 the grille extends up to the headlight. Probably just the basic 350.

Woodward again tonight. For some reason some of the photos the camera wanted to focus on everything but the car I wanted. Either way you can atleast make out what it is.

That is an amazing collection there! I was about to post my spots from today, but there is no way I can follow that matte black Clubman! :P

Stupendous amount of mind-blowing pictures

Didn't anyone tell London there's a recession on? My jaw dropped wider with each click of the mouse-wheel. I need some time to recover. Absolutely adore the pink SV! Between you and NISM0_SKYLINE, this page needs a thread of its own.

Awesome spots! If only that purple LP was metallic and slightly darker. It'd then be the best Lamborghini EVAR

Goddamnit Xint, Until now I was the only person to post a 'segg  I held that for nearly 3 years :D

Congratulations. I need to get down to Knightsbridge. I'm willing to bet the CCXR belongs to the same guy who commisioned the special edition Zonda of the same colour. I forget the name of it now but it's ultimate badass, expect to see it soon.

Day off today so I took the opportunity of the sunshine to get out and take some photos this afternoon before the tropical cyclone hits. Now I'm using Flickr I can't tell what the images are from the links so there aren't any comments. Nothing really stand out on the roads but the white Scud was a pleasant surprise and I have seen that white R34 GTR around a few times but never been able to get a choise photo until today. Yellow Volvo T5-R racing with the GTR was good too. On the subject of yellow, you'll notice it was quite a day for yellow Porsches for some reason, they were all over the place. Anyway, less talk...

Hey Dac,

I think I can shed some light on all of those incredible cars around Knightsbridge. They usually come in on private jets mainly from Qatar (as the royal family now owns Harrod's) and also Bahrain. A number of those cars say Qatar in arabic on the plates. The Al-Khalifas and Al Thanis probably own a majority of those cars you spotted.

EDIT: the black Porsche with the red trim is from Kuwait, just read the plate 👍

The white and chrome Veyron actually belongs to the crown prince of Bahrain according to my fiancee who works at Harrod's. Come August 10th and Ramadan, these cars will be gone. Harrod's always experiences a massive boom in sales during this time of year as the Arab customers stock up for Ramadan then go home and show off their incredible shopping hauls.

Harrod's now caters to the Middle East to the extreme.

And right on cue, a few of my own using the fiancee's phone cam from the same place...

Thanks for clearing that up, it certainly explains a lot. I'm glad I caught them in the act :D

Yeah they literally drive from Harrod's down Sloane Street, as most of them have apartments there. Then it's back on the jet and home to Qatar.

Anyone who wants a look at those cars may as well head down to Knightsbridge any day this week

Monday going shopping I suddenly saw this: Trio Porsche GT2, Maserati Gran Turismo, Audi TT RS:
4811273079_d1f3ab76a0_b.jpg

This looks like something off of Top Gear...until you realize the third cars a TT. But still, seems Top Gear-ish.

I've really got to take my camera with me when I go out. There's a nice Primer grey Corvette C2 in my apartment complex and Someone owns a Cayanne (I know some of you will like that.) Plus, I've seen a nice Camaro, some Challengers and even an Audi R8 and a Tesla Roadster. I always mean to take a camera, but always forget.

I don't have a photo (I was driving the other way), but the other day I saw a zonda in my neighborhood. I live in LA and see lots of expensive cars (I've seen a veyron out here), but I'd never in my life seen a zonda in person. I don't follow them carefully so I don't know exactly what kind it was, but it was definitely distinctive. Here's a picture of a Zonda to keep the page pretty.

Saw this today driving home from work, from afar it looked like a Holden/Chevrolet Caprice. As I came close I noticed the USA flag and the siren lights etc. As it was turning of the side of the car had the whole "To serve and protect." livery, hubs and everything!

It's an Australian built Chevrolet Caprice Patrol Vehicle. It was an amazing thing to look at. Wouldn't mind an equivalent patrol car like that over here!

I live in Australia so this was a big WTF. I assume it was flown over here? As I work at Melbourne Airport, the tow truck was driving back from the Freight area.

EDIT:

It looked exactly like this:

Come to think of it in that picture, its got Australia Registration, and it could have possibly been the exact same car :D
