Parked next to an Exige of some description yesterday. And did see a silver Mclaren MP0118999881999119725-3 heading in the opposite direction to me at one point - quite why you'd buy one in Ford Mondeo colour I don't know.

X-Power
I saw a black Ferrari 458 parked outside Blockbuster a few months ago. The sound of the engine when he started it up was glorious. I didn't have time to get any pictures, so you'll just have to believe me. There aren't that many supercars in my (small) city, so it was a lovely treat to see a Ferrari 458, the only other supercar I can remember seeing in my (small) city was an Aston DB9 about two years ago.

Read the first post.

Great rain shots, Rue!

Surprisingly, I got a few of my own today in the rain

First, an oddity. Not sure I've ever seen one before, Dodge Ute called the Rampage

wow, another abandoned car by Rue! and what a car! wtf is that doing there, bud? Also, amazing AE86.

Goddin, it isn't one, but two Rampages. The truck behind your grass pieces is a Ford F1.

Yeah, I was wondering if anyone would notice the second Rampage behind the first. Must be the local specialists.

And I wanted to comment before, about the 200SX, I don't really remember seeing one before, and since it's an honest S12 Silvia, it may be the first Silvia I've seen.

And come on, it's not just an F1, it's an artsy F1! I also love the front shot of the R35, rainy and mean.

Well Silvias in general are pretty common where I live, I've probably seen about 5 or 6 today. Though I've only ever seen one S12 in person.

a very nice day today( i FOUND A C1000!) see end of post

anyway.

mean while like mentioned before the local lamborghini dealer just got it's first aventador in, i caught it while it was being delivered and driven into the showroom on the first floor, then i proceeded to walk inside (about 1 hour later)and go do my normal(daily!) observing, and look over the new bull the best i could, but i could not sit inside(just yet), i have to say ...i do not really like it, i like the mercielago better. Eventhough the aventador is really nice looking, does not have the cool factor for me like the old merci

and speaking of Lamborghini dealers, i thought they were supposed be to uptight and snobby, but you walk in, and they accept you with open arms and all that and ask you to stay as long as you like, even let you sit in the cars and start them up, i remember my first time sitting in a diablo and fireing her up.... and giving her some revs, you can die happy after that.

on my way home i saw a yellow california, metal roof up, i liked it way better like that.

but now on to the C1000

Ok so yea about the C1000, it is EXTREMELY rare and i mean extremely, built 1 of just 1
it sold for 3.4 million and heres the story

5.6-liter Mercedes V8 that was boosted by twin turbochargers, resulting in about 1000 HP and 723 lb-ft of torque
all carbon body wraped up the complete package at a weight of 2800 ibs, the end result was 268 mph.....

the C1000 was commissioned by a UAE business baron of black gold who shilled out about $3.4M to get himself the fastest car in the world. at that time How fast? 268 MPH and that was in the earlly 90's. so by today's standards it still faster then the Bugatti Veyron. and the SS until the C1000 hits 268 and the SS passes it. but since the C1000 is so lite weight, it would blow the SS away on the sprint to 250..
...My lord.

I found automotive gold!...pure insane 90's power,money crazy gold.

and here it is sitting on the 2nd floor of the showroom

Nice. Still haven't seen any Lotus other than the Elite, though according to posters at the ferrarichat forum there are plenty around my area...

That C1000 thing is beyond mad. How come I have never heard of it until now? Weird.

What the hell is that thing behind the Lamborghini??

Who in their right mind would design, sell and buy something like that?

Ok here's a photo, but I must warn you guys
My cellphone pics are usually good but this one failed miserably.

The Jaaaag XJS V12 convertible

It looked pretty slick with the top down.

A race day at Zolder circuit is always good. Was it fun?

Had some spare time saturday afternoon so went to see the qualifiers for the Belcar races, free entrance apparently and the Corvette club was just finished when I arrived so I saw some pretty neat stuff.

Did not witness the horrible accident on sunday where a Ferrari lost his brakes in the pitlane and took 2 guys with him (1 seriously injured)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that's a either a Chrysler or a Plymouth. Not sure which. I could be wrong...but I wasn't aware that Chevy ever made a car with that body style.

EDIT: I believe it's a Plymouth Roadrunner Convertible.

EDIT 2: Correction: it's a '67 Plymouth GTX Convertible.

EDIT 3: Comparison photo:
