Lovely colour on that Gallardo! Never seen one like that before.

Also, great pictures of the R31, IcyJ! Hope to see it again sometime!

Not seen a 365 GTC before, either in person or in this thread. Nice spot, though that one could use some TLC :)

This brightened up a thoroughly miserable, rainy Monday afternoon, my first Mercedes SLS AMG:

I'm not in anyway being sexist when I say this, but man the woman could not drive this thing for ****. I know it's an SLS and not the easiest thing to park but still, it doesn't take a 15 point turn whilst holding up the whole car park to get into a space. I kind of felt sorry for her, there were people watching and laughing and pointing, she got out the car and made a quick getaway into the supermarket.
It could have been in better shape as well, there were dents and scuffs here and there, with quite a sizeable dent in the drivers door. Poor car.

I see so many of these down here in my new city of Chichester, but they are cool cars and the matte grey paintjob looked good.

I also found a Porsche dealership on my travels, I will head over there in the next few days.

Awesome spottings the past few pages! And now I'm going to ruin it... Spotted this up in northern Maine while taking a three hour trip (An hour and a half to and from) to pick up my friend's pickup truck he bought today. Good times! :D Now...I do apologize for my ignorance, but I don't really know my American classics that well. :dunce: Of which there were a lot in northern Maine.

Don't know my trucks... :ouch:

Buick or Cadillac? :dunce:

There were several 50s to 70s classic American cars that were at garages and stuff. Very interesting, but was never able to take shots... As well as a first gen Lotus Esprit in bright red! Which...there was no picture, since it was going the other way on the highway.

Found this Plymouth across the street from my Grandma's. Appeared to be in fair condition; paint was fading, there were dents, and there was a fair amount of rust along the bottom of the car. Didn't get a picture of the front because when I came back out to take the picture, two guys were leaning over the open hood and working on it. Must be a project car.
What kind of Plymouth is it?

Madertus
^ The fact that it's untouched makes it pretty unique I guess.

Yea, thats true :( ( nearly) stock Supras are pretty rare. But to keep it stock is the best you can do, it's perfekt as it came from the dealer, a friend of mine also kept the stock-wheels on it :) Very nice 👍

Looks like a Satellite, same basic body as a Road Runner and you could order it with all the same options. A friends dad did that back in the day, it was much cheaper from the dealer as well as insurance costs.

So no one knows what this is?

My best guess would be a mid to late 30's Chevy 2 door sedan. The give-a-ways being the shape of the rear fenders, rear side window and the straight line beneath the windows along the side that wrap around the back. It is hard to say any more accurate than that since it is obviously a custom. The "V" line along the side matches nothing I have seen stock from the era, most the 30's had the gas filler on the right rear fender, the tail lights are custom and the bumper deleted.

Hard to tell. I'm going with 35-36 Chevrolet. Hard to know without looking at the grille, and I'm betting the headlamps are custom-enclosed because if it is indeed a mid-30s Chevrolet, it would have them floating-torpedo style in the hood sides. Dunno for sure, really.

Next time any of you people come across this kind of car, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD take the front of the car, not the rear. Rears of late-30s to mid-40s cars all look THE SAME. The grilles are the only thing that really makes the difference. Do this specially if it's as custom as this thing.

I'm currently looking at a Cayman R which is parked outside my college. Black with silver decals, wing mirrors and wing... Not sure how I feel about the mirrors and wing though, black would have been much nicer. I have a photo but no way to upload it until I get home, which will be Saturday but I'm probably going to forget to upload it.
