It is a Maserati 250F, Prince Bira of Siam raced one in the 50's under the banner of White Mouse Racing.

I googled for both the car and the prince but the 250F looks not exactly the same and the princes cars were blue&yellow

To the Supra: The rims will be changed soon, the owner bought the car with them and he finds them horrible, too :D

Correct me if I'm wrong but, I'm pretty sure that those wheels and hood aren't stock.

The hood on the European version was different to the JDM Supras. They also had an output of 320BHP stock.

Google Barnd Kammerer and check the photo shoot of his restored 250F, looks exactly like the one in your link. They were raced for four years and did not all look identical. How many times do you see them change out front or rear wings on F1 cars these days...every other race or so? Barnd's 250F has the chrome ring around the front opening with the Maserati symbol up close like the one in your link. I have no idea if that car was owned or driven by the prince, but White Mouse Racing was his team.

Okay, Bernd Kammer is a German, but the car google shows me is blue, not black

Sorry, I am not saying that it is Barnds car, but just look at the trim ring around the front air inlet and where the Maserati emblem is placed and then look at the one in your link. Most 250F's I have seen are red, do not have the trim ring and the emblem is set far back into the inlet where you almost have to be looking head on to see it and it is usually smaller. I wasn't sure that it was a 250F myself until I saw the photo shoot of Barnds restoration. I am not sure who owns the car or if it was ever raced, who drove it, but I am sure that it is a Maserati 250F.

All kinds of good stuff in this area.

I need to be ready on my camera more often, luckily this one was parked.

Oh yes, those slot mags on the Gremlin make the whole car. Also, yes, replica; Yenko never made ragtops. In fact that's not even a SS car, it's aplain-jane raggie probably with a 307-327 underhood. 1968.

So last week, i took my wife to a Moon Festival in South Pasadena for an extra credit assignment. On the way home we hit traffic and took some side streets home since i had to go to work. Stumbled upon a street lined with some cool cars. First there was a stanced SC300 sitting on BBS LMs with some subtle aero followed by a parked Miata with a full roll cage also stanced on what looked like TE37vs. The best looking was a first gen IS300 with probably the best aero i've ever seen for the car and some CCW-like wheels. Then we came to the empty parking lot across from the garage i had assumed were responsible and i came upon these:

I'm in california... seeing a Skyline, even if it is a fake GT-R is unheard of. I mean, the lambo was cool...but hell i was gawking more over the 34 than that ricey murcialago....

The R34 did have some aero, it looked a lot like the C-West kit (lol i would assume since it was on vDream) i kinda liked it, but hated it as well. The R34 lacked any plates, so i could only assume it's one of those illegal "kit cars" or something.

Then one of the shop monkeys moved that IS i liked...

Oh man was that awesome

About the Chevelle, it was in decent condition, the ragtop was in pretty bad condition though. It did have a 350 emblem on it, but obviously I know that means nothing. I see tons of cars that say one number and are another size.

Not enough! Those are great looking cars. I love the way the styling is like a coupe, saloon and sports car combined.

I to love those generation Celicas. I think they're rarer than a Ferrari around here. :P Asides from the two the one guy who works for my dad owns, that brown one is the only other one I've seen on the streets.

Do you think that in 30 years time there are going to be any cars that are currently on sale that we are going to be looking at and reminiscing about in quite the same way we do with things like this Celica? Surely there will. It's almost worth buying something nearly-new now and just keeping it pristine (doesn't mean you can't drive it) and in thirty years time you have a classic on your hands that we all look at and think, why didn't I appreciate that more when it came out.

It's hard to work out what we would consider a classic in thirty years. A true classic has to be quite rare, and also stand away from the crowd a little. Hmmmmmm maybe a new thread?

I forgot that series of Celicas even existed, used to be fairly common in the UK but I haven't seen one in a looooong time either. Thanks for sharing, very cool car :)

I think the GT86/FRS/BRZ will be like the Celica. Where lots where sold but most of them weren't taken care of and abused so there won't be many left in 30 years time. But that's just what I'm guessing.

Also, I shall get pictures of the one owned by a coworker. He has a red one used as a daily driver and a white one with a 22RE turbo engine in it which he rarely uses, saw it a few times over the summer.

Ok these probably look like junk compared to J's spots but here they are.

Nicely stanced Impreza

This looked like a frs/86/brz but the badge seemed to be something like a Nissan badge.
