I think it's only our second F40 after harrytuttle's.
Thanks for the compliments, guys. It was very close to a very rich area, so fingers crossed I might run into it again.
Loving the Belgian Herbie
If it's FAST 40, it's illegal - you can't have more than 3 letters or numbers in one go. It doesn't take much to make a 7 look like a T, and as Famine posted, the DVLA site brings up an F40 for FAS740, so I doubt it's anything other than that.

To whom?
In the UK I'd have to pay HM Government £300 a year and my insurers whatever premium they'd charge (£360ish) a year before I even put petrol in it.
M3's really aren't something I see all that often, maybe one or two per year
Any reasons as to why? You've posted many nice cars from your area so i dont get why M3's would be rare. I find them to be quite common everywhere i go. At least a couple at the school parking lot on any given day
So I have heard rumours that these things existed but never really knew it until today. It's a Colorado Xtreme and I'm guessing they have to be fairly rare and never sold in great quantities.
I agree about the Colorado Xtreme, those things are cool but I rarely ever see them, I'm guessing most people would rather have a base model or a 4WD model (which doesn't come in the Xtreme trim).
I also saw a Suzuki Swift today although I was driving and felt it would be a bad idea to take a picture of it. It was M plated so it was owned by a company, I don't think they are for sale here yet are they?
We ain't getting them up here! There's no 98 octane pumps in the region - the closest being Wanganui. The dealer didn't figure this out until the local journo went to do an article.
The highest we have around here is 93.We ain't getting them up here! There's no 98 octane pumps in the region - the closest being Wanganui. The dealer didn't figure this out until the local journo went to do an article.
The dealer had two on order and had to then inform the potential customers. Both orders were cancelled...

Nice pic serge, not exactly the best "spot" but I love that photo.
Wow. I love that gen of M3, but there are so many of the damn things here that Im now sick of them. On the way to the gym today I saw both an M3 and an M5.M3's really aren't something I see all that often, maybe one or two per year so I thought it was picture worthy.

91 in some places. That's not fair.
£480 a year to the government > road tax. And £353 a year to the insurance company. To whom?

I was actually snapping the fifth Clubman (three at exactly the same junction) I've seen for him, but caught the Cooper S Cabriolet at the same time.
Edit: Same junction, December:
