I saw my first skyline today, I know there are 1 or 2 in the area, but I've never seen one before...dark purplish colour, looked like a 94-95....didn;t get along look at it, but it was kinda sweet for me..

well I try. Hey You live down the road from me now king, only just noticed that.Ok so I saw this like a motnh or two ago but forgot to post it, was looking out of work one day and say an MG Xpower drive past slowly, and it sounded pretty sexy. And for any in doubt I knew it was an Xpower as there aren't too many MG's out there which have the massive side slats down ther side................ok when I say not to many like.........none apart from the Xpower. looks good, although could be easily mistaken for the new range of MG's from the rear.
Also yesterday say a prototype. It was all covered in black, looked like it had the new prototype supra back end but the front was very curvy and bulgy and Aston Martinish. My guess is that it's either an Aston or a new Jag as Aston is based on the other side of town and Jaguar headquarters is well......about 5 minutes away from me.

Saw my very first '06 civic coupe on a car trailer coming from the brampton honda plant destined for the US. Looks like poo on magazines, but in RL looked pretty damn sweet !

Hey wee_man, I've been seeing a few prototypes around coventry too, I walked to Sainsburys the other day and saw two of the new XK's parked at the side of the road (all covered in black), I went to look in and the guys where eating ther lunch. I've also seen a prototype freelander which wasn't really as impressive.
The AM, Jag, and Land Rover headquaters are about 25 minutes drive away from the centre of Coventry, I went there to see if i could get a sneaky look at the test track, but it's surrounded by hills and barbed wire fences

hey jacks, I was going to try and get in contact with you, except I forgot the thread that I spoke to you in and I didn't get a chance to properly come on GTP until recently. Good to hear from you mate! ha ha ha, was that part of the course, the tutors taking you to the track? Lesson 1: how to do espoinage in motorsport.
Yeah it might of been the new Jag XK then, I saw it by Asda. I live about a mile away from the city centre about a 5 mins walk down from Asda, down london road? I've only got housing as the uni buggered it up and I never got student accomidation. But it's alright, just a pain in the ass to get into uni.
Where are you staying? Guessin pretty close to Sainsbury?
Did you say you were doing the foundation again at Warwick?
Ah the course is well good have you seen the Pug 206 group N rally car in the workshop that's going to be a project?
If you live in or near the city we'll have to meet up sometime and have a drink? I'll bring down a couple of mates from the motorsport eng course. BTW do you know a kiddy called Rob, whose doing the foundation motorsport course, he's staying in............priory I think.............

I live next to the library pretty much (trinity point) you can probably see it if you go outside the library, Yeah i've seen the 206, although i don't think i'll get to do anything with it this year I'm doing the foundation year at coventry, not warwick. I'm not sure about if I know Rob because i forget names really easily and there are about 100 people on the foundation year.

ahh yeah I've heard of it, don't know where it is though. Apparantly you don't really get to work on the cars until 2 and 3rd years. I didn't realise there did foundation year at coventry. kool. Know what you mean about the people though. The worse is when you're out and you get people comming up knowing your name and you have no idea who they are. Right I'm going home. I'll email you or something.
