I went to the British Invasion this past weekend in Stowe Vermont.
Guess what I found?
An all origional Lotus super7, a origional super 7 that had some Caterham body work when he rebuilt the car from a wreak (pronounced Kay-trum I know this because a spokeswoman from Caterham went out of her way to correct my Cat-er-ham pronunciation) and a Super 7 Replicar. Among many other cars.

Lotus Super 7. Award winner.

EDIT: The for sale sign in the back of the car states on the revers side a price tag if ?????????
Further questioning brought a $32,500 amount. US funds

Lotus Super7 with Caterham replicated body parts (bonnet is hand crafted by the owner) This car has the Cosworth enging in it for racing. He still races it in the old time races.

Saw some interesting cars today.

Firstly, a 5 series wagon, previous generation.

Secondly, there was a clean cars exhibit on campus today, and some cars not sold in North America were there. Smart four-four, Audi A2, and to top it all off, a car I didn't even know existed until I saw it. A '05 Honda Accord diesel wagon. I would have ran back to my room to grab my camera to take pictures, but I had a string of 3 classes in a row when I saw it...

yesterday i was doing my mom a favour delivering some money to our avon lady who lives around the corner from us. her daughters boyfriend used to drive an e36 m3 in a lurvely dark purple. just recently it seems he's bought a 3 year old e46 m3 in i think gt4 called it laguna seca blue! i delivered the money than went back to my house to get the camera cos this was the first chance ive had to get a few decent pics of an e46 m3. got back there and after id taken one picture he came out of the house to see what i was doing!
'is it alright if i just take a few pictures?' i said! he replied 'yea thats cool, ill just get the keys so you can have a proper look'

when he said that my heart skipped a beat! i was going to sit in one of my all time favourite cars. so while he was getting the keys i took 3 more pics from the outside. then i got a couple pics of the inside. after which he said 'dya wanna go for a quick spin?'

by this time i was like.....

so he went out from the little cul de sac they live down and up to a nice big ol roundabout with lotsa open road nearby!

he stepped on it and the sheer force of that 340bhp in-line 6 slapped my head into the headrest! by this time i was grinning like a cheshire cat!! :D:D:D:D:D

anyway to cut a long story short he just went round once and then gave me another head slapping!!

pics:

thanks but the only problem is now my 1.4 astra seems soooooo slow!

EDIT: later on today im gonna try to get pics of a red tvr cerbera thats always parked at someones workplace.
only problem with that is before the owner of it had a porsche 993 911 turbo i took one picture of that and he wasnt too happy bout it either!!

Head slapping is good. 👍

The best I've ever had is from a 230bhp Jag full throttle, my Dad's!

Seen a CTS-V with some beauty black rims little chrome lip, made me do some drooling. Saw my first Chevy HSR ( or whatever its called ) the owner already had rear wheel 'spats' ot covers on it. Looked pretty fruity. A Gray 911 turbo S...what a car! And a bently Continental ...( champaign colour with these weird gold wires, not lowrider wires, but different )

the second best headbashing ive had was from a 180bhp sierra xr4x4 owned by my day 2 years ago. blistering acceleration considering the lack of power. It had a 2.8. Mind you it was 4wd so it had superior traction 👍

I saw a Renault Avantime today. My second.

Since there only 7 of them in the UK, this is significant.

Hey, there are a few in my area too.

One that advertises a company of some sort, and another one, both in blue. How lucky is that!

A VW Golf MK4 in black, with spinners, not the cheapo ones as well, the proper shiny ones. And yesterday I saw a black Suzuki Cappuccino with a wide body kit, and lexus lights, and that thing that makes a sneeze type sound when you change gear, I forget, Dump Valve?

BMW M5
Ferrari 360 Modena
Lotus Elise
I saw a burgandy Jaguar XJ220, but it was sitting in a showroom that I drove by, so I don't know if it still counts, but wow, it was nice.

Hmm....

1961 Impala 409

1927 Model T Roadster pick-up with a 348 tri-power -this thing was so low it would shame most mini-trucks

1964 Buick Wildcat

1932 Ford Roadster with a Three-deuce Flathead

1957 Corvette

1941 Willys Gasser -Big Block Chevy, Weiand Supercharger, etc.etc. Straight axles rule!👍

Enough Tri-five Chevys and 32 Fords to make one's head spin

1940 Ford with a 428 Cobra Jet :scared:

Not a single 1960 Chevy sedan. :grumpy: (atleast that I saw)

The Goodguys show was well worth it, but too many high-tech street rods.

Saw some not nesacerily good cars but some unusual, and some good:

Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 8 Police car.
Mazda MX5 with a bodykit.
Chevrolet Corvette Z06.
Ford F150 (In the UK :embarrassed:).
Toyota Pickup Monster truck.
BMW M3 convertible.
Mercedes C class Police car.
Early 90s BMW M5.
I walked right past the back of a Aston Martin DB7.

I also saw a car that looked hell of a lot like a Maserati MC12 but i know it wasnt. I just dont know what it was.

Coolest cars...I saw today!!!!

Today was a good day. Saw my first M3 CSL on the road, plus a new Maserati Quatraportte (sp), a 360 Ferrari Spyder and a pale blue Lamborghini Diablo.

Welll, this was for last Saturday, while driving around Toronto, 360 Modena Spider, Mercielago, Gallardo, and an XLR with two tone silver / blackberry paintjob that had these amazing black / bronze rims...good day for car watching!
