An obvious reply to your find today Cracker, but 'boomerrang taillights or new ones? A silver 'Y' reg car parks outside my house with the older lights, it looks soooo much better.

Did they change them because of customer focus groups in US?

Its a regular lighted version unfortuatly, i much prefere the 'boomarang' version also - why did they change them????? the new ones must be the plainest rear lights of any car on the market today!

Also the new 4200GT doesn't sound as good as the old 3.2 V8. I think all spyders you'll see will be the later rear light version.

I found some articles relating to the rear boomerrang lights were only available on the european cars and the new ones were always on US models, not too sure about this though.

My brother in law is a Doctor and is the process of looking for an older 3200GT model. On Autotrader you can pick up one for £25k, seems quite cheap for an Italian GT sportscar

For the first time ever I saw a jaguar E-type. It was a white one (convertible) , not too far from where I live. Don't feel like going out again to take some pictures because its raining pretty bad.

i just saw 3 black ones today with the silver line, all around Stanmore in NW london, so 2day was actually my first day seeing some as well

Ah! I thought those Beetle cabrios had been out for a while, so I didn't bother saying anything, but I saw a couple last week.

Today I didn't see much. Only a Maserati 3200GT, that damn Aston Martin Lagonda (again) and a V8 Alpina 740i with huge chromed deep-dish wheels.
