Today I saw three Toyta Supras. Also on the highway I saw a vette that had fliped over a couple of days ago.

Boxsters suck. I see a lot of boxsters here, driven by stupid wannabees.
wannabees, wannabee's to what? owning a porsche, i think if they own a porsche they aren't wannabee's the are 'bees.

And we have lots of porsches here also, very common to see one driving. We also have a very nice Mercedes/Porsche/BMW dealer not far from my house (1-2miles) and i see NICE porsches (like the 911 turbos) and nice BMW (m3's, M roadsters, z8's even ) Most of the mercedes are nice, they have some cool v12's there but mostly stuff like the s 500.

Saw a nice 360 Modena Ferrari today. A few months ago I saw an Astin Martin Vanquish. Saw the new Mini Cooper the other day as well.

Aw yeah, I've seen two new Minis. Pretty darn cool if you ask me. What does anyone else think?

The new Mini are pretty sweet. My mom wants to get one.

Also I saw a Ford GT40. The guy said it was a replica but it still was very sway.

Wannabees to owning an exotic car.

The Mini is everywhere here. I've seen 5 (or 6), but no two of the same color, and each car just once (odd...). It looks a bit uneven in person; it's not quite as neat as it looks photographed. But the styling is good. Retro without looking old. It looks decent-sized by itself, but downright tiny compared to Civic hatchbacks. ;) I can't wait to try one out.

Saw a Lotus Esprit Sport 350 today, noticed it had Toyota Corrola GT (I think) rear lights and Citroen CX door mirrors! On Saturday I saw a Supra, Sunny GTI-R, 2 Escort Cosworths, 2 Sierra Cosworths, 1 Sierra Saphirre Cosworth, a Civic coupe with NOS (saw the bottle in the boot, was definately genuine) and a Mk2 Escort RS2000 with a Cosworth lump:D

I saw a pimped out Aztek today. It was slammed woth phatty 20's on it. It was black with limo tint. It was funny as hell. :D

Banner day yesterday:

Acura NSX: yellow, just driving around somewhere north of NYC
BMW Z8: silver, in a client's garage
BMW Z8: red, sitting at a car audio shop
BMW M3 E30: black, race-modified, supposedly shuttling back from a race
Pontiac GTO 1969 convertible: navy blue, restored (new white leather, gaudy sound system), but nice none the less

Then there's a few new BMW 7's (the ugly one), an E39 M5 in red with an out-of-place spoiler, an E46 M5 (beautiful in navy blue), and the smattering of Corvettes and non-S Boxsters (does no one buy the S version?). Sunny days do bring out the more interesting cars.

Today I saw a Bentley. I don;t know what kind it was but it was dark green with phatty rims. It was nice.

Still looking for that elusive Passat W8.

Seen a W8 some time ago. Strangely enough, it looked a lot like a Passat. ;) I think I've figured out AudiAG/VW. They overlapped the VW & Audi lines for a number of years, getting closer with each new model year. People start considering VW a reasonable alternative to Audi. Lot's of GenX's and GenY's grew up with VW as a first car (a Golf, probably). VW moves up market -- way upmarket -- as Audi moves towards Porsche (more sporty). GenX/Y's are rather successful. Consumer loyalty for VW is pretty strong, so why not market the new VW for GenX? Even better, Audi should no longer a direct alternative to VW (hopefully having a full fleet of S* and RS* cars). Makes it seem like they planned the split all along, doesn't it?

Today was cool, though (a Porsche-type day):

996 911 Turbo: gull grey, driving very slowly on a main street (showoff)
964 911 RS: brilliant red; *nice*
BMW E46 M3: aqua blue; hmmmmmM3 :)
A car carrier with 2003 Corvettes, 8 in all, 3 Z06's; what a delicious rainbow of Chevy V8.

BTW, that "nice old car shop" I've mentioned before seems to be under new ownership. There's still an old Stingray for sale, but there's also a large "NOS" sign in the window...and a G5 Civic seriously riced out right next to that poor Stingray. I'll have to find new storefronts to ogle. Maybe something in Greenwich....

Whats the S8. I can't remeber

Take an Audi A8 and add lots of Cayenne. :)

No, seriously: An A8 with an improved suspension ("improved" is an understatement), noticeably more power (310HP vs. 360HP) from the same 4.2L V8, all the options from the A8 list...and that's about it. It does make a big difference, but it's not quite an M5 competitor.

Hopefully the next S8 (RS8?) will have the W12, turbo or not. IMO, adding turbos will take away from the smooth power feel of the current S8. Not that Audi turbo technology is all that laggy, but that wonderful 12-cylinder lump of aluminum can make 500HP all on its own.

Saw a Shelby Cobra today!! Drove straight past me. Luckily it was a red light so I got to look at it longer :D

a few weeks ago i saw a Acura Nsx, Accord station wagon that looked like it has 20 grand put into it and a mustang all together at a gas station, yesterday i saw a ferrari 355 and it was only the second ferrari i seen in my town since i have lived here, i see two restored chevelles, Pontiac le mans and a charger, durango on 20s, hooked up celica gt-s on a daily basis and a rx-7 also, at my house we had two 73 corvettes but we sold one two weeks ago, i see lots of other cars too but dotn feel like naming all of them

i wish i lived in california so i could see all the great cars

I just went out like 10 min a go for ice cream, and at the parking alot some racers had gathered. There was an awesome caviler with ground effects and a nice hood. I didn't get a change to see under it. There was 2 wrx's, i saw under the hood of one and it was nice. Also they had a VERY VERY nice 300zx. Custom yellow interior with racing seats. Ground effects, Alluminuim spoiler, red exterior.

And of course porches. I see them everywhere.

Nice sighting troy I don't see to many 300zxs for some reason
