Guys, I wasnt talking about fairness when I proposed that Idea of faster guys taking slower cars. I meant to talk about challenge and avoiding boredom

I think it is a very fair comment FLX. I agree, we have reached a point where there is a danger of the GT1 races becoming a bit stale and boring. So this coming Sunday will be the last race where we can choose our own GT1 car. As from Sunday 30/10/11 the GT1 car will be specified and we will all use the same car. It will keep the the tuning minds ticking and provide a challenge knowing that the racing field is more even.

@hondy : when the clocks go back on 30/10/11, British and GMT time will be the same. So races will start at 7pm GMT ( which is exactly the same time as always ). I am not sure when Central Europe turns the clocks back, but I will find out and warn all well in advance.

A big thank you to Steve and hondy for the videos. Great racing as always 👍
 
dose that not do what FLX said that we didnt wont a one car championship? why not just ban the ford???? 💡
 
Cause then yall rockateer mofos just pick the MC12 instead and the Astons, Lambos etc still can crawl home and suck their tippytoes.

Btw, just to prove my point, the Steve, NEWDRIVER & yours truly had some very fun racing tonight. In the time trials in GT1 first round I was 0.06 secs behind the Steve - me in the Matech, him in the MC12. Next round it was 0.7 secs. Still, lots better and more thrilling than 5+ seconds - hmm, but only from my POV of course. :D

And the RSR race will be bloody good fun, Zee - excellent choice! I almost - aaaaaaaaaaalmooooooooost - won against the Steve with some B.A. Barracus style defense... even coming back hard and outbraking him from behind through the first chicane... only to fly off in the last banked turn! THE ARRGH! :ouch:

Still I proclaim myself the Jarno Trulli of Shift 2 online racing.

i thought that i would take the MC12 because of the probs with the ford being to fast + it opens it up a bit 👍👍

I dont get it. That dozzent look different to me driving the Matech at all, some turns I m even taking with higher speed than you, yet you re over 1.5 secs faster... the hell?!? :confused:

Still congrats on a gr8 time, m8!
 
Nah Steve-O, still h8 em. My RSRs nose is all over the place, its like a Beagle on cocaine. If it werent for you, that stoopid car would be the hardest thing to fight on that track!

Luckily you can still have great races with bad cars! :D
 
I'm so off this week that I don't think I can even play anymore. I really hope I can do some laps today but if if i get them i'll be so tired that i'll sleep while driving :D

Last time I tried I was 2 seconds slower... that's what your time tells me :D

I'll try but i'm already scheduled to work tonight :( may try a few laps on and off though

darn, sam what a time, i knew i should have done a other vidio:idea:, as you can see from the vidio guys

first sector was green at -0.017
second sector was red +0.442 lost 0:459 in this sector
finish line -1.392 with a time off 1;33;891

so there is more there at least 0:500 of a second to gain, so come on guys beat that time i have 100% faith in you guys, youz can do it guys:tup:

OOOO p.s. FLX my time was also in the MC12
 
I know but you being a ridiculously fast mofo aint no news to anybody. NEWDRIVER being one second faster in an MC12 than me in the Matech is news and bad ones for me, at that. I think I have to find my A-game again. Now where did I put that..? Ah! New Vegas! :ouch:

Sure is one hell of a task but since I already went to 34s a couple of times i'm confident 👍 because I know I lost time :grumpy:

However talking is easy. Doing it with the pressure online is not the same thing let alone repeat what we I can do offline with time and calm :nervous:
