FLX, It shoud've been me but I was with orange mirrors (#41) car. How could you miss that :lol:

I would overtake you there too. You did went very wide.

BTW its very common to see the other way around. After somebody went wide returning to line when being overtaken instead of concede the position results in accident.

Not keeping a line causes even more accidents braking into a corner when 2 racers are side by side. Not difficult to see why, but difficult to understand as its not that hard to be aware.

Then there are paint trading and mirrors falling off. I wish I would've catch on film... (i now have a tripod so I might start doing that ;) )

PS: I'm really pissed on that fourth place. The tune was default or someone else's. Even with nitro was hard to get near the redline, not to mention the SLR like understeer 👎 It meddled with my 3r place straight runs and that is unacceptable :mad:

Well, sigh, its all good and I guess the Senna rules apply here: If you no longer go for a gap that exists you are no longer a racing driver. But please, dont do the Prost vs Senna thing and leave others some room to survive too, lap 3 you also hit the Steve quite hard.

steve hit looks like a glitch as the closing speed was so fast that i had no chance and it never took him out!👍 steve is not that slow!!!

OP updated for Sunday's TT and races. The 911 GT3 RSR has no upgrades as you all know so it is all going to come down to the tuning bits and skill on the track :)

Results posted. Steve has taken the lead 👍

Well done to all and specially NEWDRIVER. Well done mate you are establishing yourself well amongst us. Swim where were you??? Once again thank you for a good nights fun and racing. Yeah and thanks for posting the videos hondy 👍

Sorry Zee and everyone. I was practicing and tuning about 45 minutes before race time and internet went out, was sporadic throughout the day. Glad you all had a good time though..all the S3 work and training for nothing, but it looks pretty in my garage :indiff:

Sorry I should be a more specific : Porsche 911 GT3 RSR (Modern GTX) Class A 1520 👍

Hondy it is fine with me to post your video of the GT1 time trial. It will count towards your points for Sunday. It will be great to have a time to chase 👍

edit: hondy this is just an idea (and if you have the time and willing) to do a TT with the Porsche and post a video. It will be very interesting with what you can come up with :)

Lrn2swm at least you avoid the eventual frustration of not using your s3 tune as it happened to me.

Also happened on my Ford GT in first TT session... and now I can't seem to have it as previously, even offline :(
 
That's not the problem... tune is there but it won't "load". Im going to sell the car and recreate the tune as last resort...
 
@ Rommie: Same here. My MC12 was completely stock - which was a nightmare at Silverstone since its really unstable under braking... made the S-curves quite a challenge. Plus my S3 understeered like a Santa Clause sled and redlined at 205 in 6th gear... What the bloody hell?!? :ouch:
 
FLX My tune its far from understeer that way and tops 6th gear at 240ish giving room for a bit of nitro if needed. Online its was the opposite and even with nitro was hard to redline. 4th place was actually a very good result now that I'm calm :lol:

But guys, its really getting rediculous. The Matech GT is 2 seconds+ faster than the Aston at Hockenheim. I really dont want this to turn into a 1-car series, though. Couldnt we work something out? Like the faster guys use a slower car or something?

hmm, what would you say was fair, im going to miss 2 races this week and again in 2 weeks time due to work so that is a min of 100 points droped if my time that i am going to post b4 thursday dont get beat, if they do get beat the it could be as much as 150 points so i would say that for me anyway the championship is wide open here, race hard guys 👍

p.s. zee when the clocks go back on the 30/10/11 will it still be 7pm uk time for the races? if not i may miss a lot more

p.p.s why did you have 2 pick that car, i love it and its making me feel even worse that im going to miss it, :(
 
The RSR handles great 👍 I don't even want to tune it (not because I can't...:guilty: )

About the speedwall, mate believe me. I did alot of laps either racing and TT after quite a few invites from NEWDRIVER2 :D and that GT is NOT loading its tune. Damn, even the MC12 from newdriver is faster. He did ONE :P lap faster than me :)

Plus I got my hands on C.A.R.S so no practice for me today :sly:

I enjoy the day befor yestarday practic wz both of you steve and hondy in rsr its goid but for me need more fast i work on it and now become more faster thanks
 
Guys, I wasnt talking about fairness when I proposed that Idea of faster guys taking slower cars. I meant to talk about challenge and avoiding boredom. If hondy is gonna miss the next races, the Steve will have a very lonely and probably quite boring time way ahead up front. And we ll soon... or probably from this weekend on have a Matech GT Cup instead of a real GT1 series. Which is -> rather boring. But if yall wanna have it that way, fine with me.

@ Rommie: So how is your first impression of CARS? :dopey:

Iam astill new driver but i can make one record on lap and its more enf 4 me cause iam raceing wz faster racers Rom iam happy wz that thanks for ur comment
 
You are very fast indeed. When you start in front its very difficult to catch you. Overtaking is, more often than not, only possible if you make a mistake and spin or something.

Unfortunately, the latency between us makes it difficult do judge a pass because your car jumps quite a lot in my screen otherwise some great fights would be in place 👍
 
As for the GT1 races, i never get bored on the track :) i still push for lap times if am out in front 👍 The ford GT1 is the best car for me, but lets see what race day brings :D
