There’s something wrong with the tire changes at service intervals during career events. When changing the tires during a service stop an incorrect compound shows used on the previous stages. I’m certain softs were chosen but mediums show used.

Then the number of tire changes remaining is incorrect as well; there’s always 1 set more than needed for the remaining event.

Introduced in 1.5 and already reported multiple times. May be fixed in the next patch along with the Clubs setup, spare tire and damage bugs.

Looks like Codemasters has decided that the Dirt Series games on console will never get FOV adjustments. Kinda sad, that one change could make the experience so much better for so many. Sure, many on console don't ask for it, but that is because many of them never had the option thanks to big titles like Gran Turismo who also feel it is not important.

I have very little time at this point in my life for Sim Racing so I am not going to settle.. there are two good titles on ps4 that have full FOV options so I will stick with them. No point in buying any other racing game/sim unless they have the FOV adjustments included.

I probably overlooked this somewhere, but I didn’t realize that using the Season Pass special liveries gives you free repairs.

Also didn’t realize until recently you can completely replace parts before events and during service stages. :ouch:

I have to say that having 10 Rally locations is so much better than DR1’s six. Having the extra 4 really makes the ‘My Team’ career so much more deep by not getting the same 6 locations every championship.

On the other hand, reaching the Masters level (I’m at Elite) has the potential for making the game get repetitive by the time you go through 12 stages in an event.

Even with 10 stages I start to recognize which are reverse (because I never read the names to notice...) or I start recognizing certain corners. I think 6-9 stages is about right to keep things fresh without grinding the game (and myself) into the ground.

Finally, I wish that we could get another surface other than maximum degradation in the ‘My Team’ career mode when selecting the H1 cars. Seems that the game treats them as afterthoughts and starts them last in the running order by default. Otherwise you need to do the community and offline events to get a decent surface with those cars.

So, it does look like we're getting a Season 3, as Finland was teased in one of the updates on the website. In fact. It's at the tail end of the blog post posted a few above.

I can’t find the Finland teaser anywhere. Have a link?

@PJTierney says August will be a big month but I’ve still got no hard evidence more locations is confirmed and I’m seriously doubting a Season 3, but it would be a nice surprise regardless.

Could be game enhancements/improvements or some more cars. If it’s another E-Sport competition like D4 I’m not interested.

I'm just saying what Facebook said. But why would they tease a course they already have? Codemasters did say that August was gonna be big.

I couldn't find that screenshot on FB...

"Big" doesn't mean the same to Codemasters as it does to you and me. It could just be the eSports stuff they announced in February with motorsport.com

Although if there is to be any new content, Greece and Finland are pretty much guaranteed.

I don't remember a photo mode being promised. And PJ confirmed recently in the forums that there will be no photo mode in DR2.0.

There are several YouTube videos and Twitter responses where they said that they would have enough time to implement it post launch (in the 6 months to come). I real YES was never made but they surely pointed in that direction.

They're both nice rallies but wouldn't it be nice if Codemasters had actually made something new.

Team investigated it and found that implementing it would cause various other issues (some critical) that require a lot of work to resolve, and that resource was best spent on other features.

It's certainly something they want to look at for potential future titles though. I keep banging on about it and how it's great for GT/Forza :D

Appreciate the response 👍

My theory that Season Pass paint jobs gave you free repairs isn’t accurate. Running a championship with the Renault R5 and repairs aren’t free with the special paint job.

Not sure how I got blessed with free repairs with the Lancia Fulvia.

From my understanding the Fulvia — or more accurately, whichever car you pick first in your career — has free repairs for life. I could be wrong though!
