Today I drove the escort and alpine and Audi in dailies, following it up with the daily with the Porsche.
Australia is pretty unforgiving for a first drive-used the Alpine...
I had a real nice run in the Porsche on the challenge I cracked the top 500 first time driving it...
The Porsche is really sick. I’m just a neophyte, but always loved seeing rally on tv. I always as a kid sai man I’d love to do that.
I invested about half a million in my team.
I hope it will pay dividends.
This game is intense on wheel/cockpit.
You get a good run going, push a little, for me I know there’s so much more there and I mostly do historic h2 Alpine or those type rwd, but that’s plenty. You have to focus well for clean runs.
I was pretty proud of maintaining a somewhat aggressive pace on the stage in the Porsche.
The only other time I drove it I crashed it out pretty hard.
Rally is a very rewarding genre if you love driving...
I haven’t messed with any car adjustments at all, to me they drive really well with the csl elite and load cell...
I just love driving and rally is a beautiful expression...I’ll never practice the stages, I like the co drivers calls a lot, like the tension in his voice when you are pushing a bit...
I’ve got something going on the career mode, this championship something, and it’s TOUGH. Long stage after stage...
Bravo to the developers. It’s great to jump in and have daily challenges and rewards from the last ones you did...
I noticed on Australia daily in the Alpine that course was bumpy and solid. When the course gets torn up it’s pretty crazy.
I was an idiot on that one and pushed well the first half or so, then I just came undone...Finished it out though...
Very cool game imo.

Only drove them briefly but the Lancia 037 and Porsche SC RS are great fun. The 037 seems more tame than it was in Dirt Rally 1 (where in that game I couldn't drive it at all without spinning out ), in fact the 911 seems harder to control. Don't mean that in a bad way, it's a blast to figure out.

Man. After work I was like well, do I feel like competing in my other game? Not in the proper mood plus I drive best usually early,
I poured a coffee and thought well let’s pop in dr2 and check my rewards and maybe do a daily if it’s a historic h2 or something...
3 hours later...I finished my first career championship and made a quarter million or so. Right now that Escort...Man that thing is good. I couldn’t imagine changing a thing on it...Fantastic car...The sound is awesome, handling is awesome, just a blast to drive. I love watching the replays some after finishing a stage...The chosen music is nice...Just a fantastic high quality game. It’s very engrossing, when you relax and are into it and hit some good runs you get a real feeling of accomplishment. The historic rwd cars really suit my taste. This has been everything I hoped for when I heard about it.
Rally rules!

Serious thank you to those who helped produce this title.

Has anyone ran into problems with setups returning to default after 1 stages during club championships? In the middle of a championship just now and when I load my setup to the car it works fine for the 1st stage but come the next it's back to default until I can get to a service area and load the setup onto it again

It's a known issue. No ETA on a fix. PJ confirmed yesterday that it will not be in next week's patch.

We knew about it the day Clubs was launched.

It’s not an easy thing to fix however (I won’t bore you with the technical details) but it is the biggest issue with Clubs right now.

The Lancia S4 sounds great but I’d have to pull out D4 to compare. Either way, the cars always sound really good.

Spain’s weekly was good to me. It’s the first time I ran all the stages.
Slow times but clean...Invested the winnings into my team...
Really enjoying myself...
I like the aspect that there’s risk if you push...and you have to maintain the cars...
Totally fun...

Despite the many bugs I absolutely love this game. The Group B RWD’s are my favorites for sure.

Really wish we would get a livery editor at some point though.

Dirt Rally 2 is a great game, it's just a shame that the DLC strategy is as it is. The cars are fun and the stages are beautiful but I don't think I'll be preordering from Codemasters again.

You have to admit there are certain lighting conditions where the dated EGO engine can produce stunning results!

Many bugs? Hmm, to be honest, I usually have more issues playing GTS then on DIRT 2.0..

Umm, I don't know about that.

I made the mistake of buying the base game at full retail price. Sure enough, I absolutely love the game and had to spend and additional $25 more to get the Deluxe Expansion Pack (Includes Seasons 1-3) making the grand total of my Dirt 2.0 investment to $75 :guilty:.

Don't get me wrong, I don't regret it. I love the game and feel like it's worth every penny and then some.

Just, could have saved a few bucks if I pre-ordered it .
