Cheers guys...What yous running steering input at? 25 seems good to me in the mini for the hour i played.

edit: after leaving greece monte carlo and germany have been an utter joy

just noticed theres a couple of dlc avaliable now, just bought the fully loaded ford pack, its only one car tho, and there`s a mini rallycross pack aswell, just come out a few days ago..

I'm glad I bought Dirt Rally when it first came on steam, it's worth the full price it is now but getting it for £24.99 was a bonus :)
 
@Small_Fryz Sorry for not posting my setup yet. I ended up buying a car on Saturday, which then spontaneously turned into a road trip to my friend's cabin over the weekend.

Still not done with the Piggy 405 though.
 
I looked at the dlcs on xb1 store and oddly the 2 mini packs, which I've got as part of the preorder are for sale 1.49$ ea but the exclusive escort liv I want and full upgrade is not. Reads " bundle only "

what gets me are the price of games as a download..£54.99 holy smoke...I bought a disc version for £34.99

who`d pay £54.99 for a game....crazy, plus you can`t resell it...crazy...

Yes its nuts but must have a percentage who purchase games that way. The only digital downloads I have are for the xbox one are the free games and F1 2015 as it was £12.50, a bargain were it not for being utter garbage.
 
Been doing the pro rally championship after doing some RX. Forgot how good the Stratos is. Loves to slide at Sweden and Wales, but Germant and Monte were awesome. It just has so much front end grip and is awesome on the brakes.
Not too mention it's the best replication of the sound of a Dino V6 in any game ever.
 
Have to say im only about 3 hours in and on my 2nd retry in the 1960s career just about complete but this is the most fun ive had with a game in years and i dont think ive played another racer that makes you feel like a driving god as much as this :)

Never thought id see the day Codemasters makes a great game again.

I haven't played anything else in the past two months, since DR's release day (besides giving Tourist Trophy a quick go). Just the thought of playing other games bores me at the moment. It's not without its flaws, but to me, this is hands down the best rally game in a decade and pretty much what I've been craving since RBR. I've almost clocked 5000km, yet I'm still learning.

Love it.
 
I totally agree but I still keep forgetting to play it!! When I do play it it fills me with all the same feelings as when I first popped it in the console. But with my limited game time I always seem to be playing PCars especially now as I've nailed the FFB.
Memo to self: Will give DiRT some time tonight.
 
Anybody driven the 037? I want to buy it for career and I'm hoping it feels like a bigger/faster Stratos.

That along with the E30 is such a rewarding car once you work it out. The great thing about DiRT is really giving you an idea of the strides that have been made with engineering advances when you go from the Escort to the modern day rally cars in game.
 
I just pick cars in the class usually for their engine. E30 was an easy pick for 80's, the S14 screams and sounds awesome in this game.
 
This game is so much fun. I'm just beginning it though. I'm 1/2 way through the 1960 elite championship. I have fallen in love with that little Alpine. The Mini and myself did not get along. Plus FWD cars drives me batty. (I think I only own 3-4 cars total.)
Sweden and Greece make me cringe, swear and scream. Then, I get to Finland or Germany and I smile. I swear. I hoot and holler.

I love this game, I think it's one of the best I ever played. I'm only starting to do championship but It's so much fun to play. I want to achieve platinum trophy for the first time, I'll be difficult but I'll try my best, even though I'm not the best driver (not even good or decent actually but I finish in top tier on daily stages). I wanted to get "Whose House" trophy, I won but it was very unfair because I rammed into my opponent once or twice. I had apologized to him, hope he won't mind, normally I try to be fair. This game is just amazing to drive, and I have only ABS on. I play on DS4 since I can't afford a good wheel.
 
il need to try the ds4 as last night it was 24 degrees here in Glasgow and playing Dirt Rally with the g29 had me sweating like a maniac, was sitting in just my boxers and the wife is asking "wtf are you doing"

Tamed the Escort as well. Again so much fun.

Is the AI really slow on Sweden? Any time it comes up i always win it by two or three mins where is the other stages im always second or third with minutes behind.
