Just be grateful that PD put them in the NCD, they didn't have to but they were just being kind.

That's imo not acceptable as we have to fight enough with the car & item limit (max. 2000 cars & 7000 items).
I don't really think that the very few not deletable DLC cars will hurt you.
2000cars...... even if you have every single car in your garage, it would be enough free place for over 900 dublicates. Seriously?
Why would you need multiple copies of almost every car? And even if, you could just delete a couple of the deletable cars (about 98%).
You can also use a refresh ticket for the DLC cars, if engine wear is the reason why you want to replace it. But don't forget, these refresh tickets are un-tradeable! I would rather use it for one of my stealth cars instead of wasting it for a NCD DLC car.
Be happy to have them.
At least make the DLC cars tradeable.
That would be a joke! Can you imagine what would happen when everybody is just going to dupe the cars?

If you were to delete the game data and then reinstall they should be gone right? Would that fix the problem?

I can understand not being able to SELL the cars in-game, but you should absolutely be able to delete unwanted cars.

Wow; isn't that lame. Yet another oversight from PD. T'was a bad idea to revamp the game during this holiday season.

Yea, might work.

But by doing this you will loose for sure all DLC cars, created tracks, photo's, and replay's. And maybe more stuff that where not from the start in the game. Just check out the Permanent Borrow Glitch - Thread. :ouch:

Overall, too much hazzle. :sly:

I guess I thought you could redownload all the DLC cars again, and for the replays and photos you could export them to the XMB before you deleted the data. Then you could import them back to your profile. The created tracks I don't know what options there would be. I know it would be a hassle but for someone who bought 800 air filters it can't be that bad right?:sly:

I don't get it. For people who were yelling and screaming about four dollars, and about how they thought it was too much to pay for ANY download, now that some HAVE paid it, they want to delete the very thing they paid for. Someone want to explain that one to me?

Simple; people want (obvious) options.

Reading the OP might help.

I was a bit disappointed as well... I wanted to sell my worn out Miata TC and replace it with a brand new one but it seems that's not possible. I'm sure PD is aware or will be of this and they will fix it.
After everything that car gave you, including second overall? You should be ashamed Nep, SHAMED! :(

I vote an emphatic NO.
Simple really, what's the worst case scenario for not being able to get rid of them?
Now what's the worst case scenario of being able to?

Of course they were made to not be sold because we only got one originally, so it's probably overlooked since the idea to buy them came out.

In any case, I'd rather PD fix other things then worry that much about how many duplicates are stuck in my garage. Having a neat and pretty garage doesn't mean 🤬 if online stays as terrible as it is at the moment.

So please PD, fix other things instead, this is petty and not really needed.

Simple; people want (obvious) options.

So one of those "options" is for a subculture who seems to be OBSESSED with their personal finances, are convinced that four dollars is a veritable king's ransom, and who incessantly ask "is it worth it?", to throw money away? :boggled:

Still doesn't explain the irony of the matter.

The only way irony is involved is if you have no idea what everyone but you have been able to understand.

The people who purchased the DLC want to be able to use the DLC cars exactly like all the other ones in the game. That means since they can now be bought from the NCD like they should have been from the start, they want to be able to remove them from their garage if they don't want them any more like every other car that can be purchased in the game. It isn't "they bought the DLC so now they want the ability to delete it." It's "the DLC cars have been implemented into the game's dealership, but you cannot get rid of them if you want to to buy new ones."

So it's a matter of "I paid for it and I have the right to waste my money, because nobody should tell me how to play the game, and I want the ability to needlessly have to spend in game credits, because I want to prove a point"?

See, that's how I think "gamers" look at it. The way I look at it is that I paid for it, and I see no reason to sell it, and have it go "bye-bye", and then have to spend in game credits on it. What makes more sense? You can have up to two thousand cars, so you have a couple you don't want to use. Just let them sit there.

No matter how much convoluted logic you apply, it still makes ZERO sense as far as I'm concerned. You PAID for these cars, you might as well keep them. Otherwise you're just flushing your hard earned money down the toilet. And if you do delete them, you have no right to complain about the price of ANY future download. Obviously you have money to burn in that case.

You also paid for all other cars in the game simply by buying the game, I didn't pay real money for each individual ingame DLC car, I paid real money for additional content which should offer the exact same options those other cars already included offer.

If I want to dispose of a car after a while for whatever reason or simply buy a DLC car for its unique paint chip alone, then that should be possible without resorting to duping those paints and restoring the gamesave, etc.

Okay, what the hell does the real life money spent on DLC have to do with in-game credits needed to buy another one?

So if I want to get rid of an orange DLC car that has unremoveable upgrades and replace it with a green one with no upgrades, what in the hell does that have to do with how much real world money it cost me to have these options in the game?
What are you on about?

So basically, you are functionally incapable of comprehending what the OP and everyone else actually wants, and you are pretty angry about that.

aahh another I want /don't want this thread..
Voted for I don't care :D

but, OP makes me smile today, with this

And for that I would say thank you :)

PD should make the DLC cars , bought from the Dealership sellable/deletable (in-game) and the ones downloaded from the store remain unsellable/undeletable.

btw there are non-DLC cars you can´t sell or delete ingame. ;)

Looks that way.

Maybe you should figure out how the DLC actually works post 2.02 before making random posts just to argue with people. We can buy the cars again, with Gran Turismo credits, from the Gran Turismo new car dealership. The reason we want to delete them is for when the car gets worn out we can get rid out it and buy a new one, with Gran Turismo credits, from the Gran Turismo new car dealership. We have only paid real money for the DLC once.

Just in case you haven't worked it out yet i'll put it simply:

The car DLC is bought with real money once.

The cars are then added to the virtual showroom for you to buy with virtual money/credits.

A person may buy two of those cars, at a cost of only virtual credits. They then may wish to delete one of those cars to buy a new one, for more virtual credits. They can't do so.

Poetry sir! 👍 I would like the option to "remove from your garage?"

in good pd tradition, 2.03 will give you 10 delete tickets that you can use on any dlc car (except 4wds and red cars).
:D
OMG I have to type to put a grinning face up? (It won't allow only capitols, and you need a capitol D for the grin)

And yet, those would apparently serve more purpose than tickets to wash your car... who does that? Who ever went:

"Ah, let's put some shine on my SLR Mclaren. Yes, I'd like my car washed please! What?! I'm sorry, did you say 50 credits?! Well, you sir are a capitalist PIG!"

In regards to the topic, I do think it's a bit silly we just can't delete the cars, but it's a small nuisance all the same.

I am frustrated with this as well.. I bought the Racing car DLC only wanting the miata (LOL?) and now im stuck with a lineup of karts im never going to drive.. :(
Yes, Im one of those people who likes to only keep the cars I drive.. heh
