There are theories out there that support the Oct 28th date, it's equally as ridiculous though.

John Calleman came up with this idea, despite having zero training in archaeology, anthropology, sociology, theology or the Mayan culture in general. Apparently he's some toxicology Ph.D teaching in Sweden. If you are so inclined you can read his idea here:

December 21st isn't an estimate, it's mathematically derived and the answer was put into the Georgian Calendar. If you use a different calendar the date changes, but the period of time is still going to be the same.

And the Mayans in no way predicted the end of time, all that December 21st represents is the end of a cycle. It's equivalent to us change months or years.

I would never a trust a network that has a show dedicated to how aliens did everything or a fat, short guy and a tall skinny guy spend way to much time in a van antiquing and screw old people over.

And pretty much every end of time story is more or less the same.

Be careful... this could easily end up as a self-fulfilling prophecy. Atleast where I am, if someone were to subject their neighbours to a whole day of R.E.M., they'd be lucky to live to see the following day.

Wow. I can't believe he predicted everything so accurately! What an incredible video! I can't think of 6 minutes I've spent this year that come anywhere close to being as informative and as fascinating as those I spent watching this amazing footage. I must know who this guy is so that I can rush out and buy all of his books/merchandise immediately!
