I can't see the series lasting forever unless a lot of things change. It's not a threat, it's just what I perceive. We should all look VERY CLOSELY at GT6.

This would be great, but i think the GT Franchise has to much fans who don't look at other racing games." and think Yamauchi or GT is somerhing like a god.
Sry my english is bad couldn't describe it.

After this interview i feel the Franchise could lose against other racing games for pc or console. He and the team should look at the community wishlist and not at their own.

don't get me wrong GT5 is a good racing game and i still play GT more often than other racing games, but this can change with new racing games in the future. And at the moment i think this will change.

I will keep a close eye on GT6 and the competition for PC or console. I will not buy GT anymore, because GT is on the packshot.

Yep, he's out of touch. Look at GT4's HUD and GT5's HUD, it's pretty much copy-paste. It hasn't been updated to include any new useful information. Nobody cares about the time of the leading car when someone is 2 seconds behind you and closing fast

My theory: Gran Tursimo has become everything Kaz dreamed it would be, outside of better graphics and physics. That's why the series has stalled

That issue regarding HUD is really crazy.

I mean, we have absolutely unnecessary list of drivers on the right side - I mean unnecessary in the current state.

Instead of providing such data in real-time (or even better when particular car crosses the sector-mark for sake of immersion and some *authenticity*) - for example time gaps among the cars (color coding, up/down arrows and such details) or moment of pit-entry and such - it just stands there and destroys my plasma (thank god for option to turn it off).

And all data is there, streaming in real-time - when in online race you can actually watch and observe everything on the Data Monitor.

GT5 has so much *groundwork* for such many things, but it just does not implement them.

I was watching that GT4 Prologue make-of video yesterday and if you compare that Kazunori with this one on the interview, he looks damn tired and I bet GT5 it's the reason for that. And he looks really humble talking about the game and giving the answers.

When he talks that they and the team have those ideas in their heads, sometimes looks like "we know you want this, etc..."

When I red Kaz's interviews I always have this felling that he doesn't want to answer the "controversial" questions, or talk about anything that the community is discussing. His answers are always so vague.

I wish they would make a "making of GT5" documentary. I'd be interested on how they did the physics, sounds, modelling, game design etc... and it would give the fans a lot of answers.

It sucks that they didn't answer any livery editor questions or questions regarding importing old tracks from GT-GT4 to GT5...

There were 50 questions, we got 10 answers. Still no premium interview!!! Maybe we should send PD a letter or maybe smoke signals is the best way communicate with PD.
