shem
I'm aware that it's Xmas season and wish everybody a nice holiday.
Please don't drink and drive! (moderators move this if it should be somewhere else)
I just came from a friends house and used his G27 for a session on GT5.
I drank only 6 beers but still managed to put my bike (aprillia RS250 2stroke, completely illegal in this country, fast as hell and smokes more than I!) into a taxi because I was under the impression I was Rossi (luckily only road rash). This isn't fun and I'm now going to have to take a taxi to work because of the repair job.
My point is this; Don't screw up somebody's holiday/life because of alcohol!
I learned the hard way. Be thoughtful this season please!

This was one of my first threads. Admitting to the whole site that I attempted riding while drunk. I can't fault it for mistakes but can for it's ethical message.

Am I embarrassed? A bit. It was nearly a year ago and was in completely the wrong section but in my own defence I was only trying hope others learnt from my mistakes.

The bike has been in storage since that incident as I can ride it, it's buggered and I can't sell it because it shouldn't even be on the roads here.

So.......new members beware. Don't drink and drive! (Just drink and post instead ;) )

Drinks water.. Yes, agree wholeheartedly with that statement.

I'm ashamed with some of the posts I make today, let alone a year ago .

You must've posted a LOT of crap when yo uwere new here... I mean, 3000 posts in less than a year?

About 9 posts per day. I've seen longer standing members with PPD higher than that (Terronium-12 and Toronado come to mind).

Those 2 don't count, they are off the scale when it comes to posting.

I need 2 more months before I can look back to post that are a year old.
I will be back.

I always keep thinking, how many of the ponies actually tell it to the outside world that they are pony lovers.

I'm slightly embarrassed about my really old posts. I had a signature that had like 30 Cheers smilies in a row then a bunch of Ouch smilies saying "What happens after too many beers". I also think I sucked up a bit with the whole "zomg AUP is the bible bla bla".

I remember that post Shem. I thought you were joking a bit, but now after seeing many of your other posts, I know you're a drunk. :sly:

I can't really remember many of my earlier posts but I'm sure they were embarrassing. I remember being "corrected" by Toro once and I think I didn't post for a week after that.

I put one of the episodes on a smartboard at school, with a class full of students. Problem? :sly:

I don't regret anything
I don't have the time to, and if I did I wouldn't be able to change it regardless so what's the point of regretting anything.

18, playing since the original. This game was a life changing experience for me and I would like to thank everybody who helped in its inception. Long live the real driving simulator!

Just ran a search, this is the oldest one I could find, Oh lawd....

I'll have you know that my post count is well under 9 per day.

Ignorance is bliss. I've been a member here for a while, not too long, but long enough to have probably made some pretty embarrassing posts. If I don't read them, there's nothing to be embarrassed about.

My very first post on this site was (in 2003) a 13 year old me claiming to own a Citroen Xsara Picasso converted to AWD and with a Ford V6 under the hood.

I still have it, you guys.

Well who wouldn't want that?

The crucial question that still needs an answer is: A Xsara Picasso, really?

Ha, why a Xsara Picasso? Some 13 year olds would say they have a 5000Hp Corvette or something. :P
