shem
I'm aware that it's Xmas season and wish everybody a nice holiday.
Please don't drink and drive! (moderators move this if it should be somewhere else)
I just came from a friends house and used his G27 for a session on GT5.
I drank only 6 beers but still managed to put my bike (aprillia RS250 2stroke, completely illegal in this country, fast as hell and smokes more than I!) into a taxi because I was under the impression I was Rossi (luckily only road rash). This isn't fun and I'm now going to have to take a taxi to work because of the repair job.
My point is this; Don't screw up somebody's holiday/life because of alcohol!
I learned the hard way. Be thoughtful this season please!
This was one of my first threads. Admitting to the whole site that I attempted riding while drunk. I can't fault it for mistakes but can for it's ethical message.
Am I embarrassed? A bit. It was nearly a year ago and was in completely the wrong section but in my own defence I was only trying hope others learnt from my mistakes.
The bike has been in storage since that incident as I can ride it, it's buggered and I can't sell it because it shouldn't even be on the roads here.
So.......new members beware. Don't drink and drive! (Just drink and post instead )
