First third of the show was a little strange.

Opening match for the Women's tag titles went as expected really, and Sasha slapping Bianca ramps up the build for their match, Big E-Apollo was going great and they had good chemistry until the botched finish, I don't really know what happened or it if meant to happen but Apollo attacking E after was good drama, I hope this feud continues as its been great so far. So Elias was Shane's replacement for his match with Braun, it came about when Shane was leaving the trainers room with an ice pack on his left knee and Elias was asking him about his WM appearance, later Elias was performing in ring when Shane announced that he was his replacement, then Strowman came out and the match went as you'd expect, but Braun needed that win after being humiliated on Raw by Shane.

Seth v Nakamura was when the show really got going, they had a great match and had some good chemistry, Rollins winning was a bit predictable but it was far from a walk-over. next up was the no hold barred match and that was brutal, they just battered each other all over the place! Drew took a White noise through the announce desk but ultimately won with a Claymore, its a shame this feud is finishing now as it has been excellent.

And then the return of the Fiend! Nice build up to it I thought and it was well put-together, Alexa was fantastic yet again and I think Bray's new smoky burnt attire looks badass! Universal title main event was excellent and told a good story, it was going great until it went a bit chaotic starting with the ref bump, Roman actually tapped out but there was no-one there to call it, having Edge attack both Reigns and Bryan with the chair was a mice little touch, this really should be a triple threat at WM now.

What was Peacock like?? I heard there was a few mins delay and that you rewind anything

Well, time to get a Peacock submission. Is it worth getting the Premium? It's the same price as the Network, but it's ad free.

Andrade has been officially released by WWE, they announced it after the show last night.

Andrade has since put a tweet out himself thanking Triple H, Paul Heyman and William Regal....but not Vince.

Not even a main rooster match made and they're already giving Rhea Ripley a Wrestlemania match, and for the raw women's championship as well!!

I think the only downside I see with Peacock is that there are no timestamps to certain matches like in the Network.

Word on the street is Charlotte's out for rolling positive on COVID. Timing of the announcement's interesting considering there were rumors of her trying to leave as well in order to force WWE's hand on releasing Andrade. Either way, first time since WM30 where none of the Womens/Divas Title matches at WrestleMania involve her...

...yet.

Three more matches made for Mania following Raw last night, they also announced which matches will be on which days.

Saturday.

Lashley v McIntyre
Banks v Belair
Bad Bunny v Miz

Sunday.

Orton v The Fiend
Reigns v Edge
Asuka v Ripley

No day's announced for Styles/Omos v New Day or Strowman v McMahon yet, really hope that Banks-Belair main event night one.

Charlotte took to Twitter to say that she has tested positive for Covid. She was removed from all advertising for Mania, she is apparently shooting a movie, she was scheduled to face Asuka for the title.

Nothing much else from Raw last night, they added stupid train sound effects to Strowman when he does that shoulder tackle thing on the outside, it was laughable!

Some NXT news as well, Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch sadly had to vacate the tag titles after Burch suffered a separated shoulder during the tag team main event last week involving Balor and Kross, it is a legit injury and he was attended to by medical staff during the match, Regal will address the situation on tomorrow's NXT.

Kane is the latest inductee in to this years Hall Of Fame, The Undertaker broke the news to him on The Bump, Kane looked genuinely touched.

Dave Batista won't be inducted this year, he is in Australia filming Guardians Of The Galaxy 3 and asked to be inducted in a future ceremony, he was part of the 2020 class.

MAY 19TH
MAY 19TH
MAY 19TH

Also, a possible reason for why the entire WWE Network backlog isn't being ported over to Peacock straight away is there's reports of editing out of things the service deems questionable. No disclaimer or anything, just editing.

SNEAK EDIT: The Great Khali is the next inductee into the 2021 WWE Hall of Fame class.

What's happening on May 19th??

Rob Van Dam is rumoured to be another inductee in the this years HOF class.

Now if you go to the WWE app it goes to a black screen, and if you search it on google it’ll transfer you to a page on Peacock. Guess the app is dead now unless you the Peacock deal falls through. EDIT app is still working for now.

The logo of NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver resembles that of the logo of NXT TakeOver: Tampa, which had been cancelled last year.

NXT last night announced a few more matches for Takeover S&D, Walter v Ciampa for the NXT UK title, a tag team triple threat for the now vacant NXT tag titles, Adam Cole v Kyle O'Reilly in an unsanctioned match and Gargano will defend his NA title the way there are finding his opponent is pretty complicated, I can explain it though.

They also announced which matches will be on which nights.

Matches added to Wrestlemania following Smackdown last night.

Cesaro v Seth Rollins
Sami Zayn v Kevin Owens
Big E v Apollo Crews (IC title)

Daniel Bryan has been added to the Reigns v Edge Universal title match to make it a triple threat, I think this was coming and I'm fine with it, what's mad about this is that five years ago that match wouldn't be possible!

Edge wasn't happy with this and attacked Bryan with a chair, looks like he has turned heel.

Seeing all the hate WWE is getting on youtube due to breaking up the hurt business (yep... Vince did it)... I'm just like "Why don't we just boycott WWE again (like the "give divas a chance" movement that provoked the "there's no we without you" campaign)??"...or at least RAW..., Why don't we do that?? :odd::odd:

I mean, I haven't watched any WWE programming since...NXT Great American Bash?...but if I've learned anything of late, it's that people yell about things they don't like, but have no interest in doing anything proactive, or hell even reactive, otherwise because (insert weak response here.)

I've stopped watching the wrestling news on YT lately as well.

All of Raw was pretty bad, breaking up The Hurt Business for no reason when they have been one of the best thing on the show for the past year. Poor build up for the Raw women's title continues with Asuka and Rhea teaming up to face Nia and Shayna next week, there was also an awkward botched promo between Asuka and Riddle. Plus Baron Corbin from Smackdown showed up at the end for no real reason. Felt like the show was written by eight-year olds.

Riddle v Sheamus for the US title made for Mania after Sheamus beat Riddle in a non title match last night, it was a good match and probably the one good thing from the show. Strowman v McMahon is now a steel cage match. backstage reporter Charly Arnolt/Caruso has left WWE and will join ESPN full time.

Pathetic show. Absolutely unwatchable. The Hurt Business is dead, John Morrison's dignity is no more, the booking for the Asuka-Rhea match is copy-pasting the formula of the Sasha-Bianca feud, the New Day doing New Day things... I mean... yesterday RAW was pure TRASH.

I'm actually starting to think it would be wise to skip Wrestlemania.

again, this isn't a bad idea... I will remind you that the movement made the women be considered superstars and gave them tons of strength, hell, they even got a women-only ppv...
