I hope the draft benefits Raw. It's kind of funny because back when Raw was the A show, every Draft Raw just took everything good Smackdown had and flushed it down the toilet leaving Smackdown with a brick years like 2005, 2010 and 2017 while Raw ended up wasting the benefits it gain to no longer be good. (Especially 2017, The Miz and Alexa Bliss were the only draftees who didn't end up wasting away (this includes Dean Ambrose as he was just in it for the Shield nostalgia act))

Now Smackdown is stealing all of Raws good stuff but Raw is still wasting away talent potential while Smackdown still handing its talent pretty well.

Okay guys its PPV Sunday and tonight its WWE Extreme Rules, here is the card.

Liv Morgan v Carmella

Smackdown Tag Team Championship.
The Usos (c) v The Street Profits

United States Championship-Triple Threat Match.
Damian Priest (c) v Sheamus v Jeff Hardy

Raw Women's Championship
Charlotte Flair (c) v Alexa Bliss

Smackdown Women's Championship.
Becky Lynch (c) v Bianca Belair

Universal Championship-Extreme Rules Match.
Roman Reigns (c) v 'The Demon' Finn Balor

There is usually six matches on their PPV's.

They haven't announced the pre-show match yet either, they normally do it a few hours before the show.

So it would have been Liv Morgan's first ever PPV singles match but sadly that match is now on the pre-show.

I think we have seen our reason why, New Day were just scrapping backstage with Lashley Styles and Omos, Six man tag match incoming!

Edit: and there we have it, Six man tag match confirmed for tonight.

And WWE still asks itself how AEW is destroying RAW, especially in the women's division...

Triple threat at Smackdown or Survivor Series (don't count crown jewel for obvious reasons)...
Saudi shows have opened up to Womens Wrestling with restrictions so don't count out it being thrown away to Crown Jewel

Hate to say this, but this PPV was lukewarm at best. Yeah, there were some hot spots, but no title changes...

Even the ending, just why?

Top 10 Anime deaths.

Regardless WWE has a problem with planning either too far ahead or too quickly with no middeground and the PPV highlights this. With the WWE Champion in a spontaneous match making it a forgettable affair and kind of pointless and the Universal Championship match being a complete waste of time since we already know, making the journey to the real destination a drag.

I don't think Roman needs the title reign to be so long and on a win streak to be an engaging story in fact It's now gotten the opposite effect I fear that I just don't care about any Face who tries going up against him as they are just cannon fodder. He could lose it, regain it later on and still set up a good story, while having the middleground be exciting and make me care about his opponents

I guess the only good part from this was the sportsmanship between Priest and Jeff. That's what I like about having 2 Faces in a match.

Bit of a weird show tonight, there was some good things though.

Liv beating Carmella in a good match on the pre-show which the crowd were fully invested in, they were chanting for Liv and there was a big pop when she got the pin, Triple threat US title match was great, Tag title match was great, the SD women's title match was great and both Becky and Bianca had some good chemistry plus Becky didn't miss a beat on her first proper match back, Sasha returning was a nice twist there should be a great triple threat between the three in the near future if they don't get drafted.

But then we had a six man tag which whilst it was a really good opener it was still rushed and thrown together, having a WWE title match on Raw as the opening match is not for me, I don't think Big E's start as champion has been the best so far sadly, the Raw women's title match was good but a little predictable and the stuff at the end with Lilly being ripped up but Charlotte and then Alexa weeping was weird, Alexa had something in her mouth to make her foam there.

The finish to the Universal title match (and the show) was crap, the rope collapsing under Balor's feet, really?? And that's how they bring the Demon back?! TThe match was good but I don't think it was anything special.

The crowd were great and the talent stepped up too but I get shake the feeling that WWE are in a strange spot right now.

Dude... RAW is finally stepping up its game!! 😁... Don't get too excited though, WWE still needs an overhaul to avoid losing to AEW again, and remember we have been there before, and when everything got balanced they returned to crap again...

It was definitely a fine Raw. Some low points like Keith Lee repackage feels kind of silly but I like The Hurt Business coming back even if it's only because MVP is out and Lashley needs another mouthpiece.

I won't comment on the Main Event as I have a massive bias against Steel Cage matches, the whole escape rules, wrestlers going back into the cage for the spot instead of actually winning, the freaking door and how I takes way too long for someone out the door really frustrates me to no end. I rather Steel Cage matches not have that door, you can obviously tell the wrestler is stalling when they aren't winning yet or at all and it takes away from the experience. Ladder matches have this problem to but no where near the extent of Steel Cage matches.

Also how many times do they make a Steel Cage match to prevent interference only for the match to end in, Interference.... that reasoning for Steel Cage matches is dumb. I hope we never see a Steel Cage match but I know it'll keep coming back to annoy me

First time I watched Raw in a while was a pretty good one but I won’t watch it regularly after the draft is done next week.

It was a good Raw, we had two WWE title matches (technically!) and the No DQ US title match was really good too with Priest and Sheamus just battering each other, I liked the Steel Cage match despite the stupid stuff going on, I didn't like them trying to escape, just pin you opponent!

Hurt Business back together is good but we never got an explanation so to why, Keith Lee's repackage is just a slight name change from what I could tell.

So after looking through NXT, it appears Joe Gacy gimmick being pulled from last week and getting controversial was all a work to help sell the gimmick as he did the same thing using last week to help fuel his promo.

Touché, makes me dig the gimmick more. I already get enjoyment out of him portraying the left wing bogeyman (a lot of comments on the YouTube video are praising it either being a parody or realistic take which makes this even better ) but this meta work outside the ring is the cherry on top.
