Vince McMahon's new look (2023, actor unknown)

Carmelo Hayes is new NXT champ after beating Bronn Breakker, Indi Hartwell won the NXT women's title plus we have new NXT women's tag champs.

Way too many interference run-ins on in the title matches for Stand and Deliver. The NXT championship match was really good until the finish, unless they're setting Melo up to be a heel champ there was no reason he couldn't have won that clean and looked strong at the end. Especially with Bron being a good sport about it afterwards.

Also, Gigi doing the Three Stooges ladder spot was just plain awful given how long it took to set up. They really have no idea what they're doing with the women's divison (but that's nothing new for WWE).

Gotta give mega props to Dom. He kept his character during Rey's induction. You can tell he really wanted to cry.

Looking at the stage this year, I think it's fair to say that WWE is single handedly supporting the LED screen industry at this point.

Bad fake crowd nose for Seth.
I was wondering if that was supposed to be part of his theme or something, it sounded more like a bad midi file.

Though I have to say, If you had told me last year that Logan Paul would be putting on a better Wrestlemania match than John Cena I definitely would have called you insane. But... well, here we are! 🙀

So Rey Mysterio's entrance finally acknowledged who Dom's real dad is :sly:

Also, still cray that the little kid who had kayfabe custody of himself on the line in a match is wrestling the man who won it in said match

Of all the matches they could have slapped the Cinnamon Toast Crunch theme on, they choose the emotional father vs. son match. :odd:

Rey's entrance was cool though.

So Bad Bunny is hosting Backlash, in Puerto Rico, and he interfered in that last match...

They're gonna bury him liike WCW always did with Ric Flair in North Carolina, aren't they?

If night 2 is this long I’m gonna watch it until Monday. It’s almost midnight here.

Wrestlemania 39 - Night 1 Results
Match 1: Austin Theory retains the US Championship against John Cena (this was very underwhelming)

Match 2: The Street Profits win the Men's Fatal-4-Way Tag Showcase (Awesome spots, especially Gable suplexing Strowman)

Match 3: Seth "Freakin" Rollins wins against Logan Paul (A banger match, including KSI being involved)

Match 4: Becky Lynch, Lita and Trish Stratus win against Damage-CTRL (Really good trios fight)

Match 5: Rey Mysterio wins against Dominik Mysterio (5 Star storytelling, plus Judgement Day and L.W.O in the mix)

Match 6: Rhea Ripley wins against Charlotte Flair and is the new Smackdown Women's Champion (This was a hell of a brawl!)

Pat McAfee made a surprise return and won against The Miz in an open challenge

Match 7: Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens won against The Usos and are the new Unified Tag Champions (Superb main event! Everyone played their part to perfection!)

Great first night, Theory v Cena was the only meh match on the card, loved Flair v Ripley and Undisputed tag title match.

And now a short break while they sweep up all the glitter that got knocked off of Miz's suit onto the canvas.

They literally copied the finish of the NXT Championship. What an absolute wet fart of a way to end Wrestlemania.

Starz Dean GIF by Power Book II: Ghost

A context-free spoiler for WM39 Night 2's main event
Also, Shane McMahon tore his quad and Snoop Dogg did a good "think on your feet" thing

It’s now official.

I wish them well in their future endeavors. ;)

It's not fully official until the regulators approve it in a few months' time, but unless Vince does something immensely stupid like trying to make a power play for control of the whole thing, I can't really see what would block this from going through.

Wrestlemania 39 - Night 2 Results
Match 1: Brock Lesnar wins against Omos (okay match I guess)

Match 2: Rousey and Baszler win the Women's Fatal-4-Way Tag Showcase (not really surprising)

Match 3: Gunther retains the IC Championship against Drew McIntyre and Sheamus (good brawl)

Match 4: Bianca Belair retains the RAW Women's Championship against Asuka (Same as the first match)

Match 5: Edge wins against Finn Balor in a Hell in a Cell Match (a good fight, but Balor got busted open pretty bad)

Shane McMahon returns to fight The Miz in another open challenge, but tore his Quad in the beginning. Snoop Dogg was quick on his feet and improvised by filling in for him and winning the match.

Match 6: Roman Reigns retains the Undisputed Championship against Cody Rhodes (very salty about this decision, but hopefully we'll get something tonight)
