Does Gran Turismo 5 need a voice actor?

We're old enough that don't need someone to narrate the "story". I am probably going to put in months of play time into this game. Dear God I hope there are no annoying or repititious voices in GT5.

The only place for voices are within pre-game videos of tracks or while viewing a car's specific history..

But i don't think voices belong in GT5, the whole audio/visual presentation is very soothing and easy to spend a few hours(in total) browsing, i couldn't see opening a car page having this voice come on, then cut when i exit after a few seconds.Kinda Tacky.
Might work well in Museum Mode tho.
I'm curious to see if there will be co-pilot voices, or pit voices in the race ala GTR2.

Actually William Daniels would be kind of cool. Add a turbo boost sound that is closer to a hoover vacuuming jello and a swishing red light on the front of every car and it would be perfect.

Even better, Douglas Rain! As you overcook a corner and attempt to shift down into first to reduce speed ... the voice over says ... "I'm sorry Dave, I can't let you do that ..."

TOCA had a voice-over. It was some whiny pom who reminded me of something from "Love Thy Neighbour" and kept giving you faux encouragement. Drove me nuts and I ended up ditching the game.

P.S. Sorry but anyone under the age of 40 probably has no idea what I'm talking about

I think they should use TG presenters for GT5.. at the start there would be Clarkson screaming "POWERRRRR!", in the corners Hammond would be declaring "You're the driving god!", and after spinning, May.. "I think we're in Surrey.."

I will not like an announcer in GT5. I rather like that they used a voice actor for simulating comunications with the pits. Just small things from time to time like telling you to push because the car behind is getting nearer and stuff like that.
