Does PD come here and check out our ideas?

Do anyone know if PD/KY comes here sometimes and see what people want? this must be one of the largest Gran Turismo forums after all!

anyway I think it would be really good for them to read what the real fans want!

GTPlanet is the web's largest online community dedicated to the Gran Turismo racing game series for the PlayStation/PlayStation 2.

If I worked for Polyphony Digital, I would routinely peek in here. If there was a site that thoughsands of my customers got together and discussed my work, I would visit that site even if my boss tells me not to.

I have big suspicions about someone in this forum, and it's nothing strange to me. Like my friend a6m5 said, If they'd like to find out what gamers really look for in a Gran Turismo game, they'd definitely poke their head in here.

And as I see the progress PD has made with GT5, I can definitely tell that most of the new possible options like damage, paint shop (), inside view, demanded exotic cars, etc...have been big requests from part of our demanding members in this particular forum.

I say, No doubt.

I can guarantee you that they don't. Proof? GT5/GTHD still suffers from the same fundamental problems all the other versions had. Graphics aside, there's been little improvement in the title's entire lifetime. Either they don't listen, or they don't care. I've noticed that this site was up long before GT4 was out, and looking at the old posts it looks like none of the suggestions were even looked at when it came to finishing GT4.

It would kind of be a no-brainer, wouldn't it? But I suppose they know better. It's not like they don't have any real competition. Oh, wait...

Excuse me, but just because we demand better graphics, better sound, better gameplay in general, doesn't give the game makers an infinite power to create whatever the heck they want in no time. Before making smart quick conclusions, perhaps you might wanna look deeper into how, why, and when a game is made. If they didn't care buddy, they would have stopped with GT2 and then make similar games to that one. I think there must be smart people in that company who cares about what everyone does...money. And I think they are able to tell what makes a game better than the other, the only problem is, how to make the graphics, sounds, selection of cars, random options, for the better of the gamer.

a) No. They don't read us. But, if they do, they aren't going to admit more than "of course we pay attention to our fans, blah, blah ..."

b) Yes, they read us. But you'll never get a confirmation, more than "of course we pay attention to our fans, blah, blah ..."
