For fun, let's provide PD with some innovative ideas!

1. Daily log in bonus that rises as percentace until 200% (was in GT6)
2. Road route like mountain uphill etc
3. With more powerfull machine (PS5) an evolved track editor will be perfect
4. Ability to custom the interior of some cars (seats car instruments and for 'racing' modifications models the ability to make them clear from interior (seats panels etc)

This wouldn't be for fun but PD should implement incident points for each online race, same way iRacing does for example. To illustrate, if you have contact, push someone, or go off track, you can see on the spot how many points you will be losing for such things. This will in some way discourage bad driving etiquette.

If you reach certain limit of incident points in a race, you get a DNF. I think PD deducts points for such things already, what I'm saying is that they should make it visible while racing.

Procedurally generated events. A dedicated GT League like section which cycles every month with 20-40 different events charged by procedural generation. Using AI to create authentic looking unique event banners, and then effectively generating events using the already existing car classes and PP system as a base to build from, events could be anything from a single one make race with BoP to a 5 race series with tuning and damage using Gr.4 cars.

It would take the effort out of PD having to dedicate time to making new events and menus, they would simply need to update the lists when they add new circuits and cars to curate from. Whilst also giving us a near endless selection of events that all look and feel bespoke.

Wasn't this what the SR was meant to achieve?

I feel like I have way too many to list. I think would what be a lot easier for me, would be to just make up some ideas for Bonus/Extra Menus. Anyone interested in hearing ‘em?

Ninja edit: I also had some potentially neat regulations in mind, for either Sport Mode races, or Online Time Trials.

Go for it - I find it interesting to hear the ideas that the community has.
But, it also highlights the lack of imagination that PD have shown in producing the events we have in Gran Turismo

People seem to care very little what their SR is or how is gets affected. Racing in Sport Mode or in Lobbies, people still race very dirty. The intro message that explains how racing etiquette should be in Sport Mode was a waste of resources - people don't care. Great majority race as if they own the track or to the expense of other good drivers.

But perhaps if you get a little message on your screen every time you have contact with someone telling you that you had a racing incident (1x) and that there is a limit of incidents per race (say 10x), maybe you will at least be extra careful or mindful of your driving on track.

As we all love the sausage curbs and how they throw the car in the air everytime you touch them, how about a short, narrow circuit where the track is lined with sausage curbs, with no DR/SR?

Right, so for one idea, I'd expect there to be a Bonus Menu featuring a trio of races that only permit Gr.2 cars, even though we already have an Extra Menu featuring a trio of Super GT500 cars. And for an example of an Extra Menu I had in mind, there could be one based on cars designed by Pininfarina, which would ideally include not just the iconic Ferrari Testarossa, but also the Ferrari Sergio and Pininfarina Battista.
But, it also highlights the lack of imagination that PD have shown in producing the events we have in Gran Turismo
Then again, I get this feeling that we're still relatively early in GT7's life. So who knows?

1. B-Spec
2. Interior part customization
3. Garage area (you can decorate, position cars in specific spots, see other people’s garages)
4. Interior decals
5. Brand specific tuning parts (you can choose between different brands of things like turbos, clutches, transmissions, etc.)
6. More widebody customization (official Rocket Bunny, LBWK, etc. kits)
7. Light covers (front and rear)
8. HUD customization
9. Mixed class racing
10. More cars allowed on track at once (30+)
11. More missions, license tests.
12. More cafe menus.
13. 2 player races with more customization, bot cars.
14. If the other player in a 2 player races has a GT7 save file, they have access to their garage, while you have access to your garage.
15. SELLING CARS

I realise this suggestion is so wild that it will never happen, but I'm thinking every driving view could have a rev counter.

Ok, so this might work on GT7 as I am yet to get my hands on a PS5. GT sport's list function and categories should stay fixed as your choices when entering and exiting the garage instead of always returning to last used with the boxes. I like having a list instead of the boxes, it becomes easier to search for cars that way and personally it looks much tidier and detailed in a list format...just a thought GT especially if GT7 has not got this function.

I would love to see more Tokyo Highway style tracks, A-B style, with the options of AI traffic and traffic density. Cruising with friends would be great fun like this. I really love GT's driving physics, would suit an A-B racer.

My biggest wish is still full VR, really holding out for this

I'd love low speed driving events.

Regularity road rallies would be the best use of slow cars like the Demio which are pushed far too much off of what they're built for on high speed track driving. Fuel consumption would add more to the challenge.

For fast cars that aren't track worthy (think 600+ hp F-segment saloons like AMG S 65 or M760Li), the same kind of event would be cool, but with the goal of being fast on an Autobahn and not unsettling the car with sudden steering input.

And while we're at it, why not feature autocross?

All of this would make the game consistent with its tagline and better use of its content.

Make the Tomica town scapes a real track (like city tracks in the past) to drive in game, if they aren’t doing Seattle, Rome, New York anymore, do this one.

They got couple of tracks in works but when they show up nobody knows - like the R246

Races in single-player mode have the option of setting a qualifying time.

This determines the pace of the AI (in a range for them, with a range of slightly faster, and slightly slower). Payout is based on this as well. If the AI stops being artificially idiotic, then this could be quite fun. The time only works for the car and tuning that the time is set, and these are stored for later use. Deleting the time is available.

Set a qualifying time of say 1:35, and the AI has a race pace in the range of 1:40 on easy (plus or minus 3 seconds), 1:38 on medium (plus or minus 2 seconds), and 1:36 on hard (plus or minus 1 second). Starting in the position qualified. This varies when the event is reloaded.

1. I would do time trial, hillclimb challenges for all types of cars and with high rewards.

2. Historical /challenge mode, where you would have to fight with motorsport legends, whether from F1, GT or DTM. Again, with high rewards.

3. Create your car - I would allow players to create their own car in the game and sign a contract with any car brand, then test and modify it according to needs and challenges given to you by car manufacturers.

I would also allow players to make their own brand and start completely from scratch, which of course would be more difficult.

4. Demolition mode - I would allow players to go crazy and collect credits for individual hits. There would be a simplified damage model and only 6 cars max. Just for fun.

I do not think that PD ever look at this website, but as I was complaining about the lack of creativity in another thread, I thought we could come up with our own ideas of how to make Gran Turismo more interesting.

I hope we can come up with some genuinely interesting ideas, well apart from the ones I suggest below!

Tag - In a large space, try to tag the rear of other players, while not being tapped yourself. When tapped, the game ends for that player. Last one standing is the winner. When players are out, the car is left in the arena.

Passed Out - The size of the circuit will determine the number of players. Northern Isle - 2 or 3. Le Mans - 16 to 20. Players begin equidistant a part. When a player gets overtaken, then they are out. The last one running is the winner. Tire wear and fuel consumption should be on. Have to hit sector times to remain running - so everyone tries to go in the same direction.

Distance Runner - no fixed time limit or a number of laps. Tire wear and fuel consumption, and quite high multipliers. The person who completes the most laps wins. Again, minimum sector times have to be achieved to remain in the event.

Against the AI, start first in a limited PP car. Get a head start, and the AI in higher-powered cars has to try to catch up. Bronze, silver and gold awards are based on the difficulty of the event. ReTheyverse of chase the rabbit, but it could be quite fun. With weather, tire wear and fuel, then winning can be made to be very challenging. This mode could be added to custom races.

This all I can think of for now!
