For fun, let's provide PD with some innovative ideas!

I do not think that PD ever look at this website, but as I was complaining about the lack of creativity in another thread, I thought we could come up with our own ideas of how to make Gran Turismo more interesting.

I hope we can come up with some genuinely interesting ideas, well apart from the ones I suggest below!

Tag - In a large space, try to tag the rear of other players, while not being tapped yourself. When tapped, the game ends for that player. Last one standing is the winner. When players are out, the car is left in the arena.

Passed Out - The size of the circuit will determine the number of players. Northern Isle - 2 or 3. Le Mans - 16 to 20. Players begin equidistant a part. When a player gets overtaken, then they are out. The last one running is the winner. Tire wear and fuel consumption should be on. Have to hit sector times to remain running - so everyone tries to go in the same direction.

Distance Runner - no fixed time limit or a number of laps. Tire wear and fuel consumption, and quite high multipliers. The person who completes the most laps wins. Again, minimum sector times have to be achieved to remain in the event.

Against the AI, start first in a limited PP car. Get a head start, and the AI in higher-powered cars has to try to catch up. Bronze, silver and gold awards are based on the difficulty of the event. Reverse of chase the rabbit, but it could be quite fun. With weather, tire wear and fuel, then winning can be made to be very challenging. This mode could be added to custom races.

This all I can think of for now!
New version of the game, completely new. At least they could think to add more daily races. This GT7 has nothing,
explain to me why people should play GT7 after completing career.

No need for innovative ideas.
Just add the good elements that the past games had:

0. Make the Hard AI Setting default to be as hard as the Chili Pepper races or as hard as "The Human Comedy" Maggiore Race. Why this isn't the default actual hard setting baffles me. It still won't be a challenge for the actual top 1% of players but should be more than a challenge for the rest of us more casuals.

1. Qualifying before races (GT1-GT4 features)
2. Grid starts more, a lot more, often in the races. Some double row+close together running starts is also pretty good.
3. Increased payouts by using an underpowered Car (refer to GT5)
4. Selling cars (any cars). (GT1-GT4 features)

5. More NOTABLE Championships, Missions and Race Events such as:

"Like the Wind" (1 Race):

Tracks:

-Suzuka Circuit - 18 Laps

There, in just about half an hour while listening to some music I came up with these non-innovative ideas that would probably fix 95% of this game's problems.

Enough events for people to actually be entertained, covering most of the missing cars that don't have events for them (Super Formula, Gr.1, Gr.2, Classic Race Cars) as well as tracks.
And with 3 new events, in the form of the SSRX and the 2 championships with a good enough payout per hour relative to its lenght and difficulty for a nice grind variety, and of course, enough payouts to at least cover over half the credit costs of all cars (added to the already existing event payouts and car prizes of course).

And with a bit more time I could've come up with even more races or championships for other types of vehicles in the game.

If I could come up with this... What's stopping PD?

Oh, and if they really want to at least make some money from their MTXs... Here's another hint:

Instead of charging a pitiful 2 million credits for a whooping 20€, try bumping it to, maybe just 10 million for 20€. And you'd have maybe quite a few more people buying it... since as it is, this is almost to the point of robbery.

My suggestion: Daily Sport races that payout tuning components and engine swaps to place holders (you can only win one prize a day to keep human-robots from winning every race in order to mix it up). You can race until you place and win.

A C Spec mode, with the same physics and graphics. A bit of Tokyo where you get to drive around a map, with places scattered around it. A dealership, tuning shop, UCD and LCD with physical 3d representation.

Honestly, an open world Tokyo on this engine would be a dream
