Apparently, the Chechenian leader dude who threatened the Olympics just recently, might have kicked the bucket. I'm still looking for full confirmation though.

Can't say I feel too sorry for him.

(Amusingly, he's being referred to as a "rebel" by the article.)

We can't be sure about dead or not, maybe he was dead a lot earlier. He was sick and could not recieve any good medical care, he was slowly dying all the time of his hiding.
Anyway, I heard he wasn't even controlling anything for the last couple of years (the Caucasian terrorist groups have their own leaders, and Umarov doesn't order anyone), so his death doesn't mean much.
