Damn I wish your holiday would finish d2!! I need backup against all these guys like chriscoupe, aj, broski, juan, jp & dr24 there bro, most of my experimental base tunes can't keep up at the moment against these guys, so I need finished products in there whipping ass!!

that night i was half a car from chriscoupes enzo

i noticed one night my viper was bogging down and it turns out the room had skid recovery on and i didnt turn it off in my settings.

i did hear it gives you a better launch

I have a fast Enzo - am part of the unofficial DRAGMASTERS clan. I have over 300 drag tuned cars and we mainly run Top Gear Test Track. I've got a quarter/full mile enzo and an ss7 tunnel enzo - would be cool to drag some of you lot to see how fast you are

Im against posting complete drag tunes, because tuning and drag racing is limited enough in gt5, its like the competitive part is away now. Second, we will have a bunch of uneducated kids running fast cars, beating those serious tuners, that have put 100+ hours of tuning into their cars. The fun part is still trial and error. We dont need complete drag tunes, we need good discussions about drag tuning and how it affects the car in game. In the long run, learning and be able to tune your own cars will last longer.

His Enzo was up there with d2's at the time we raced and he and got a couple of wins under his belt against both myself and d2 in the Viper and a couple of other cars. 👍 Mastakilla has also auditioned to be part of GME aswell, and I haven't said no to him either with that request but the 🤬 with Legit got in the way of his audition so that made things a bit dicey at the time. He's in that Top 2% of drag racers that have my respect. 👍

masta is fast yes i know but i haven come up against him in at least a month dude and iv made about 2 more faster tunes for each of my cars since then 1 bein my enzo which is not beatin yet since my new tune . Masta is very good but id need to run him again grease monkey style

they are so against running off a tree(ghost) its not even funny. they would attempt going off the time 10 times before they do a tree

tell him to man up and run off a tree, the the only fair way to do a serious drag race(reaction time). anticipating time doesnt work

sure their cars are fast but dont mean anything. if their opponent jumps they stop the race but if they jump, they keep going. if they really want to have a drag "showdown", do a best out of 3 both time and tree

as for gme, unless you guys re-tuned... your enzo got really slow last week. i think i bumped into you mafia and you know what i mean.(jp and drxxx was in the room)

about legitskillz, i entered his room, i had to tweak the enzo for about 2 mins and he was talking so much crap

when it came down to race, i got him off the line and before we even hit the halfway mark of the tunnel, he quit the race and kicked me out. sore losser

i sent him a message to learn not to talk crap before the race even starts

As I said earlier in the thread I was calling d2 for backup as my cars won't hang with you guys at the moment as my cars are always used for experiments....even my Veyron is in experiment mode and it shows because aj & Juan have kept up with me and beaten me recently while I was running these experimental gearboxes. As for my Enzo, I 🤬 HATE MY ENZO!! I hate Enzo's PERIOD!!

I dont like their mentality either, the fact that people dont want to run from a tree/ghost, and come up with excuses like "im not good with tree" makes everything wierd and useless. We all know the total time flaw, but just beeing plain stupid and ignorant is another thing.

I wouldn't say it's weird and useless. Look at it on the flipside, people such as myself just can't get a good reaction off a tree and when it's friends of your opposition doing the tree, it makes it harder to look at it in an unbiased way. That being said, I won't back off from a tree race, but I'll be the first to admit that my reaction times are usually worse than a grandpa's.

Personally, I like the combination of timer & tree. Saying you're going to ghost at a time then doing so eliminates all the variables and allows the people who do run off timer to have a legitimate chance against the people who do nothing but tree, and allows the people who run off tree a chance to ensure that the people who run off timer WILL NOT jump. 👍 I'm not saying one way is better than the other with timer or tree, what I am saying however is that by putting both theories together makes it a lot more welcoming and especially more equal to both sides of the drag racing fraternity. 👍

The tree/ghost isn't perfect either. Sometimes people will see it earlier than others - the host of the room usually, but sometimes people from the same countries will see ghosts before those in different ones. I've had experience of this - it really depends on who is ghosting

But the point is that it IS there and DOES happen to people. Lag occurs regardless of whether you run tree or timer, hence why the tree/timer is better, but you already wrote that off as pointless and more distracting. What, can't you concentrate on two things at once??

How can you jump a tree, when you dont know when the car is beeing ghost? You can jump tree if people are like flashing light before and then goes invisible, because then they are just launching of the flashing flights or tuning wheels etc.

Second, it doesnt matter what other players are saying, beause they only see what is on their screen, and hence they are BS eachother.

In theory i can jump by 1-1,5 seconds and still claim i didnt jump, and that is what some people are doing, specially in those team hosted rooms. And when you are arguing, people often claim that its your "bad connection speed" even though latency is more important.....huh
