Tried the Judd Hybride at 614pp but only managed 2nd, 6+ seconds behind.

I have a new DS3 and it really hurts my thumbs, the left one especially.

Thinking of glueing something firm across the right and left turn buttons so you don't have to take your finger right off when switching from right to left and vice versa.

I'm sure someone has already tried this and it hasn't worked well otherwise we would all know about it. Anyway will try it on one of the older DS3's first.

And good racing there with the Audi, Suba.

Here are some lap time needed to gold. The 2J is good here and is meant to be a 710-720 pp car. I used it to good effect at three races so far, R246, Cape Ring, Eifel for huge prize credits. A 908 FAP at Sarthe with 5 clean laps but don't know best for 'Ring.

R246 1 33.9
Cape Ring 2 27.4
Sarthe 3 38.9
Nordschleife 6 19.2
Eifel 1 26.0

Watch the penalty areas at Le Mans, don't clip the second half of any chicane and that 10 sec for being too far right at the Mulsanne corner is a nut kick, 2 seconds for ramming doesn't hurt tho'.

Didn't have a R8 RC 01 so used my R8 RACE CAR (AUDI PLAYSTATION TEAM ORECA) 08 and won at;

594pp...$3,751,800...xp 367380....394hp..1118kg.

Best lap..2:25.4..won by 0.115 sec.

I need a better tune for lower pp.

I am using a modified Priano tune, can send you tomorrow if you want.

Courage c60 590 pp 3.823.950 cr

Just saw your post Dalone, great job

4mil prob needs around 582

Good one as usual Noway.

Oh well, I was in the lead for all of 3 minutes. Hoo ha!

With a stock 2J and sports soft tyres I could win the first 4 events.
Good for over 2 million credits and 200000 A spec points with the 200% bonus.
Won the last event on super soft with a stage 1 turbo, which gave about 1.5 m and 150000 a spec.
Realised I had the wrong tyres on and then switched to racing hard and took of the turbo for a easy win.
With such a high reward I do not think it is worth going lower in the PP value.

:grumpy: Ok its not 582pp 3.992.300 cr with GT-ONE RC (TS020) 99, great car though. 580 possible, just have to overtake w/o losing time. The citroen and the GT LM are real road hogs.

We aren't going lower for the money 'Harry, it's to win at the lowest PP. Most of us always have the $20mil in the bank.

And Noway, did you reach 582?.... ""Ok its not 582pp"".....Where did you get to?

Yea did 582 pp, might try 581 later....trying to put off going back to TT and Gt....scrounging around for a few tenths ie :-( !

very very nice job Dalone and Noway....i know that you are experts :):):)...its my first time that i try with low pp....i ll try later again...i m waiting for the tune Noway...keep the good work guys

Ha ha, thanks Suba but Noway is the expert here, I just get a bit close to him sometimes.

And Noway, was the 582pp with the TS020? Could you post the tune? I know it's a pain in the bum.

Thanks very much for that Noway, I'll give it a try when I can.

And yes Shoe, Cape Ring is the go this time.

Toy GT-one RC (TS020) 99 AT 581PP(and car losing power) 4.064.450CR won by almost 3 sec ...corner cutting :-D , xp 397995. Fast downshift in hairpins 3-2 turns in nicely. best lap around 2:25.7xx . D

If not 9th by 2nd hairpin(one leading up to long sweeping right hander) exit, I always restart

This would be a fun seasonal if it weren't for the damn Nordschleife. If I were just battling the Jag with a massive handicap I'd be fine. But trying to get by the idiotic AI cleanly on that track is raising my blood pressure.:banghead:

If I wanted to get run off the road by an idiot in a Ford I'd just drive around town in anything "foreign"....

Been using a Stage-3 Turbo Mazda 787B. I have won three of the races, but am having trouble with Eifel and the Nurburgring, been losing those by about 6 seconds.

Take the turbo off and tune the engine down. Max downforce and minimum weight. I still haven't won at the Nurb because of the godawful AI, but Eifel was easy, and I suck.

i'm basically **** at racing and i beat them all in the 787b, the ring took me a good few tries but it was first time wins on the other 4. just max downforce, minimum weight and the std turbo, need take about 3% off the power and i ran the diff on 7/30/10.

I used a RM ZR1 (C6) @ 684 PP a controller vice a wheel. The 'Burg was frustrating as hell (AI cars) but eventually got the 'Jag.
I could use the GT Ford GT LM Spec II Test car in the earlier Dream Car challenge and whip the 'Jag, but couldn't touch it this time. I'm going to try it again.

Well, after trying about 30 different set-ups, I finally beat the Nurb with the Audi Playstation Team Oreca R8. And now I will never touch that particular race again.

I can post the tune if anyone else is struggling. I had about 2 seconds on the Jag even after failing with my 787B and various other Group C's and LMP's.

EDIT: Oh, and the ticket finally gave me a GT-One. I've been hunting for that car forever.

Wouldn't believe it. Overtook the Jag between the right hander after the big left hand sweeping turn and the sharp left, 2nd last turn from the end, at 580pp and then went off the road and ruined it. Bugga!

Ring in a detuned Bentley or 787 to 650pp is a nice challenge. Enjoying the chase so far..

Edit: this event is much easier at stated pp level than the Lamborghini 550pp nurb run at maximum allowed pp.

:ouch: thats why they have a pause button ;) , I sometimes pause to see where I will make my pass during difficult race (just like real racing :-D ) . Did you change any of setup? I think its just an easy car.

No way could I pause during a pass (or during any part of a race except for during a very long straight) and then continue after deciding the best route to take. The interruption would put me right out of kilter, more power to you Noway that you can manage that.

Also my loss is made worse because after nearly every other attempt I find I have gained a pp (new car only a few km on it) and I am at 581pp at the end, and not the 580pp I started with. That time I remained on 580pp.

I made minimal changes to your tune Noway;

BHP 382 973 KG 582PP...........bhp 384...1053 kg....580pp.

think i had final speed at 300km..........max at top 290km/h.

Furthermore, I restart unless I am very low 22's at the 1st sector, a good run is in the high 21's.
