In the words of

"Drift around any competitor during a race, pass him while drifting and capture it!"

Please follow the rules.

~ Only one entry may be submitted, mark it clearly as Final Entry.
~ Previews may be posted, but must be no larger then 400X300.
~ You may change your Final Entry once.
~ All images to be uploaded at Imageshack.
~ Photoshop or other graphics programs may only be used to crop, resize, adjust brightness/contrast, gamma, hue/saturation, rotate, add a border or small signature, or to remove the "Gran Turismo/©SCEI" watermark, if you so wish.
~ When using brightness/contrast and hue/saturation filters to alter an entry, it must be uniform throughout the entire picture.
~ If you don't have Photoshop or other professional image management software, try a shareware one such as Picasa or GIMP.
~ Have Fun and feel free to PM me if you have anything you want to ask or discuss.

I think you race in arcade mode then save the replay. Re-open the replay and photomode options are avaliable by pressing select.

Get someone else to confirm this as I'm not 100% sure of that.

this is gonna be difficult to execute, and I cannot enter. a shame, because I know of a good place to do it too.

exactly, or you can go into any course, in Gran Turismo mode, and do a family cup, save that replay and take photos from that replay.

Ohh man...I did the best overtake drift in a Merc race at el capitan in my SL55

No, swiss, I do not have a copy of GT4. and all of my drift shots are solo. or i'd mos def enter. it's not hard to hang the ass end of a BTR out against a BMW down the corkscrew in laguna.

or whip the arse end out of a viper around a vette threw the same corkscrew.

Or drift Adenauer around an Audi in a Mercedes.

Tokyo's red brick chicane in an NSX around a skyline?

etc.

see, i have a multitude of ideas for this. the EASIEST, however, is the sweeping corner at tsukuba wet. you will break traction easily, there is a ton of room, and the corner is gentle enough that you can do it at some crazy speeds.

Well not having a copy is rather problematic. I keep forgetting that you don't. I wonder how many people will take one of your ideas.

see, my talent is that I can almost ALWAYS imagine a high quality shot, down the the car, angle, even colour choice and such, that will be a solid entry. just about any theme, and I can say "damn, that'd look good". I just don't have the talent to make it happen, and don't have the hardware to even facilitate the freegin chance.

it's the same when i draw something. i can see every detail in my head clear as day, but I can't always convert it to the paper. it's craptacular.

why, i can go one better. most of my cars i have a good 3d perception of them in my head, and can even imagine them being driven by TG or around a racetrack. its just getting them to the paper that is the Problem.

An example was at the start of the year, when i was listening to a song, and could figure out the whole gippsland train line http://www.metlinkmelbourne.com.au/themes/metlink/images/v_line_services.jpg from Traralgon To Melbourne

I do that with race tracks. I can look at a track map w/ road specs, and litterally see the line in my head. I just couldn't drive it at all.

I actually had a lot of good shots from the session, but I like this one the best, I think.

And yes, I actually did manage to pass that 787B.

Thanks - I'm really trying to get better at some of the GT4 photography tricks...I've only been trying a couple of weeks. ^^;

And nice drift. XD Fun? Not many people drift XJ220s, much less the race version. XD

i still think LongBow has the best entry. not only is it a fantastic angle, but the cars used are just the exact opposite of something you'd be expecting to drift.
